Prospects
Job prospects, as it is. The interview today went well, and he talked to me as though I already had the job, but he said he was going to fax everything up to HQ and they'll decide. I'd really like the money. Tina sent me an e-mail saying how we should do a lot of traveling together next year, as its my last year in Britain, and money would make that a lot easier. I'd feel guilty spending any more of my parents' money for things like traveling for fun, which isn't a necessity (as opposed to traveling to get places- like from Heathrow to Lampy, etc.)
I was reading the other day that it was raining so much in Wales that the rivers flooded, and it was my river! Well, so the main river, not the Dulas, which is the one that runs through campus, but the Teifi, which is the one which the bridge crosses over, which is where the Welsh long version of Lampy gets its name (Llanbedr Pont Steffan- its the Pont Steffan that crosses the Teifi. Anyways.).
I miss my beautiful Wales. Especially after a day like today, its still really hot upstairs.
We should hang out sometime. All of us. I've seen Morgan and Mel since I've been home, so far. Sarah and her friend were going to have this hat party, but it was canceled a few days in advance. I think the Western people have only recently returned home, and I know they have things to do, like unpacking, which I just finished the other day, even though I've been home for two weeks and a day now.
Haven't been doing too much- reading, sitting around, that sort of thing and the like. When my laptop wasn't messed up (good going, Jenn, fecking up your laptop like that) I watched a lot of tv- a lot of Father Ted while I ate lunch, just like I did in Lampy. Oh, I've also been walking to a lot of places. Well, okay, two places, really, down to my sister's apartment in Woodinville and down to the library. But, yeah, I suppose that's all. A few little things else here and there.
