We had a Thanksgiving over here in Lampy, just our corridor. I managed not to (pretty much) overcook the turkey- I was actually more worried about under cooking it, especially with our crap ovens here. But the side I was most worried about was actually the moist and nice side- FUCK YEAH! I made a half-moist turkey! Everyone liked most of the food, which was good because I worried that they would find it weird and gross and too American-y and un British-y for their tastes. The apple pie was really good, but I was silly and finished off the last two pieces (there wasn't much room left in our refrigerators which are small, and I ran out of dishes to put things on- why not finish off the pie?), and I was super-full and slightly bloated for it. Like a true American.
Now we have tons of leftover turkey, and I don't know what we're going to do with it. Nick wanted to get the bigger turkey, so there you go, Nick! You can eat all that's left of it! At least he paid the extra two pounds for it.

Also, Pirate Night is this Friday, I am excited to go out for it. Kate says she's dressing up as a pirate for it. They came up with a clever name for the night- 'Pirates of the Ceredigion' (the name of the county in which we live).
