You know, that last post- posting it in my room was so exciting. It made my day, using the internet in my room!
I ordered an adapter for my laptop. I hope it gets here soon. Oh, and it totally sucks because this year I guess the University decided they needed more money and don't provide us with duvets or pillows, so I'm borrowing some from Liz until I can find some in town. Or out of town, really. I want them cheap.
Right, so I'm pretty good, bit of a cold, runny nose is gross. The bed this year is about a third less than last year. They were small before, but now they're even smaller. Really, I wouldn't be so upset if I wasn't paying so much for my room. But I'll learn to accept it. I'll see if I can't buy some from Accommodation, just the duvet and pillow because I have all my sheets and things, and I don't want to spend extra just to get what I need. They're selling the whole package for £20, bloody hell.
No, but really, I'm doing quite well. Wait, I have more complaints: a person or two in our hall has been here for a week or so, and took up most of the refrigerator space. I'm a bit pissed off about that, too. I can fit a small thing of milk and a can of soup. It's not very nice of them to take up the entire fridge. (The other refrigerator is broken, so we can't use that.)
Yes, so, otherwise, I am doing well. I made cookies yesterday and they turned out really well, better than all the other times I've made them. The new people living with Will and Rhys, and Liz and Tor are all nice. They made me spaghetti last night. It was good, but the Brit girls had never really cooked anything before so they had some mishaps. It was funny, though. I went out the first night, and talked to Jane most of the time, and drank too much because I'm not used to drinking that much anymore, and breathed in a lot of second hand smoke which made me all gross and maybe that's why I'm a bit sick. But I had a pretty good time. Funnily enough, I haven't really spent much time with the people I actually live with. I should go find them, they don't seem to be around, really. Probably why I haven't spent much time with them.
Right, so I hope everyone's doing alright, I'll get to getting postcards sometime this month. I hope they get to all of you this time. Royal Mail can be a bit unreliable. Like, for example, Lampeter sent me something, and I got it in some plastic with RM saying they had a problem and apologize for any inconvenience. I could read maybe four words because most of the letter had been torn off. Good day to you all, then, cheerios are tasty, what what, stiff upper lip, etc.
