The Pill
I played my first show with The Pill today. We played at the Cabbagetown festival, on a big stage in the street. We played vulgar songs about sex and drugs to people of all ages. As Dan spun in circles singing "get dizzy dizzeh dizzeh dizzeh dizzeh for a make out party" he jumped off the stage into the crowd (of around 30 or 40 people) and continued spinning. He eventually tripped, breaking someone's baby carriage, knocking over a child, and hitting his head on a pole. Fortunately the child and his family were not in the least bit upset. Dan had a bit of blood on his forhead for the rest of the set, which was pretty short anyway. No one commented on Dan's obscene lyrics. Zoe is playing bass with The Pill while Chris is away, which may be for a very very long time. Other new members include Mikey, Kara, and Tyler. Not all these people play at every show, however. This band has evolved this summer.
