I think I'm starting to feel something...

First off, Happy May the Force Be With You Day! :D

So... Supernatural has just been a show that I'd watch on and off whenever Becky bought the new season. I'd have a little hype, and then it'd die down until I got the next dose. B-but after watching Seasons 4 and 5 within a week and power-nerding during first hour with Becky and Cody, it's happened. I'm addicted. Also.... okay, first there was Holmes, who was a total badass. Then Hare, who is adorable beyond all reason. Now I think I'm starting to crush on... oi, an angel of the Lord. o_o

Meet Castiel~. At first, his character was just interesting. He was the first angel on the show, and he put a different twist on things. (Like now, we finally have demons and angels fighting each other.) Then he started to fade in the background and become the comic relief, which was a disappointment to me because he had such promise. Once the creators of the show decided to keep him as a regular, he began to develop as a complex character that I could connect with, in some ways. God's his father, but He seems to be shirking His responsibilities, and Cas has doubts about how much He cares about him and the other angels. I could say the same about my own dad. ANYWAY it's been a while since I've ran into a character that was a puppy and an attack dog in the same person. Seriously, I've got that picture up there, and then this:

His reaction when Dean tried to hook him up with a prostitute so he wouldn't die a virgin. XD The poor guy is put into so many awkward positions, and he's so naive about the human world. Even if it seems like he's overwelmed or confused, he's dead serious, and everything just goes over his head. It's adorable. Like his little issue with cell phones:

I looked him up to see if he was based off of a real angel, but I didn't come up with much. All I found was he's the Angel of Thursday. Today while I was driving my brother to t-ball practice, the sun was positioned just right behind the clouds so that the rays shown through bright and clear. It made me feel warm inside to think that there's really an angel named Castiel up there. I mean, of course it wouldn't really be Misha Collins in a trench coat, but still. It's a nice thought. :) Plus I don't think the real Castiel would be eating White Castle burgers and doing shots...

Okay, now that I've spammed you with Castiel...

THE HATTER WHO CAME TO DINNER. It's funny, because Miss Harper had been thinking about doing The Man Who Came to Dinner as the spring play instead of The Curious Savage, so I had a good chuckle out of that. But as to the episode, it was cute!! Once again, poor Rabbit's suffering was the subject of my amusement. (Sometimes I think it's a miracle that guy hasn't developed a drinking problem. XD) I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd watch a scene with Hatter and Rabbit in bed. God, what I wouldn't give to see the bloopers for that! lol I was watching the episode in the back room of the library, and when Becky came in with her breakfast I said, "Good morning. Oh hey, guess what? Hatter and Rabbit are in bed together." She had to pause, "....Excuse me?!" Then Sam came in and just stared blankly at the screen, "I thought Hatter lived with Hare?" I didn't even think she paid that much attention. XD I wasn't entirely satisfied until Hare plopped himself next to Hatter. It was about time that happened. ^^
