Click to viewIt's one of my earlier ones, which is why it's so mediocre. At the time, I only owned Season 4 of Jeremy's SH series, and all those episodes were filmed near the end of his life when his sickness was really taking a toll on him. Sometimes it's hard for me to watch those, because I've read in interviews how much he suffered during that time. :( He never gave up on Holmes, and he literally played him until the day he died. Dedication if I ever saw it. So now whenever I listen to this song, I can't help but think of Jeremy, and I get a little choked up or teary-eyed.
This is one of the few songs in which I enjoy listening to the cover more than the original. I commend Queen for creating it, but We Will Rock You took such a beautiful turn on it. Especially with Kerry Ellis singing; there's something about her voice that draws me in. I saw this show in Toronto, and during this song pictures of rock artists who died when they were young were projected on a screen, and it ended with a large picture of Freddie Mercury. It was really touching.
