Auditions were pretty lax for once. Not as many people showed up as I'd hoped, but we had about 20 people in the room. There were only three guys though... and seven guy parts. o_0 So... obviously Miss Harper has to twist a few things around and do some sex changes in the characters. Mr. and Mrs. Rogers are going to need to become the Rogers Sisters, for sure.... and that also means that I now have a greater chance at being casted as the doctor! ....Right? Not many people seemed all too excited for the part, but I never know when Harp will pull a fast one on me. For Alice I tried out for the Queen and got Mock Turtle. Total 180. I love how badly I want to play this man-role. XD
Like I do for every play, I did some pre-casting in my head to see how close I am to Harper's judgement. This is what I'm thinking- I know none of you know these people and probably don't even care, but it's just nice for me to write them down somewhere:
Philip Lombard- Adam (as much as he doesn't want it, it's going to happen XD)
Vera Claythorn- Jill
Justice Wargrave- Jonah (he was amazing when he read, holy crap was it creepy)
Dr. Armstrong- Me (please?)
Detective Blore- Eddie
Emily Brent- Emily (hah! I know, but that's not why I think she'd be good)
Martson- Gillian (though I don't like her personally, she did the White Rabbit justice and I kind of want to see more of her)
That's all I've got. The other four characters I'm not so sure, but I'm interested to see how accurate my guesses are. We'll see~
