orenjinotaiyou_ and I were discussing last night how ridiculous the Twilight fandom has gotten and we just don't like the fact that it has made vampires even more mainstream. Okay I've been in it for a while now, not long as some people but long enough to see this fandom explode.
I've been into vampires, the occult and the supernatural ever since I was in elementary school. Yes, I used to read the teen horror novels such as Goosebumps and R.L. Stine when I was younger and yes I used to read witchcraft books where I actually made my own "potion" and I don't remember what it was for but you get my drift.
But it wasn't until I saw the Buffy movie back in 1992 where I really fell in love with Vampires and I was 8 when that came out and fell in love with Vampires even more when I saw Interview with the Vampire shortly after and I was 10 when that came out. I've actually tried reading the book a few years ago but I just couldn't stand Anne Rice's writing but I still love the movie.
So please, I just don't want to be bunched up with the noobs who don't know squat about vampires and only know about them through reading Twilight. And God dang it, VAMPIRES DO NOT GLITTER. I seriously think that I'm more excited about the movie than BD due to that cheese (and
morningglory___ I seriously love you even more since you totally agree with me on Edward's cheesiness!).
It's Twilight Tuesday today which made me happy because I got to see more of Jackson's fine ass. As well HOW CUTE WAS KELLAN AND NIKKI TOGETHER?!?!!? Mike was sooooo adorable during his interview and I just loved how Rob kept on repeating R-PRATTZ like a gazillion times.
And now I leave you my fave artwork by Victoria Frances.
