(no subject)
Friday I went to one of those girly Pampered Chef parties at my sister's house. I ordered a cool meatball maker and some mixing bowl. Have to stock up on stuff for the apartment. Other than that, it was pretty uneventful. Well except for the fact I sliced my thumb and index finger open on my toothbrush. Sounds weird I know, but I have one of those spinning Oral-B ones and I took the brush head off to clean the metal spinny thing. I look down and my finger and thumb on my left hand are bleeding!! Little did I know the metal part was razor sharp. So my finger and thumb were throbbing all weekend. Today they're starting to heal and only hurt when the skin gets soft from washing my hands or being in water. Looks like it's starting to heal though.
Saturday had dinner with the fam up at the Northampton Brewery (our home away from home). We celebrated all the September birthdays. Walked around NoHo for a bit. Had to head over to Lucky's to check out the tats and piercings. My little neice Katelyn had fun trying on all the "funky shoes". I'm sorry, but when you hear a two-year-old say "These shoes are funky!" Is the funniest thing ever!! Oh and she's totally obsessed with that song "Hey Yeah" by Outkast!! LoL Except she calls it the "oh you think you got it" song. It's funny hearing her sing it. Me, my sister, Katelyn and Alyssa were rocking out to that song on the way home. The people next to us at the light must've thought we were total lunatics because we were jammin' and getting all into it. Ahh the things you do to amuse kids!! LoL
Got home and called up my cousin Chris. Met him and a couple of his friends up at Maximum Capacity. Thirtystones was playing there. Of course, we had to see our peeps!! Couldn't let them down. They of course rocked the place. Was a little upset they weren't serving the "Evil blue Jello shots" though. Instead they had some weird test tube shot things. I really wasn't in the mood to drink that night so I didn't partake in the sippage. Left the bar after they closed and Chris ended up getting sick in the parking lot. He'll totally kill me for typing that, but oh well!!
Sunday was a lazy do nothing day. Enjoyed the beautiful weather. Was going to wash my car, but never got around to doing it. So the cute little Sunfire is filthy. She's needs a bath really bad. She's the dirtiest she's ever been. Maybe tomorrow I'll run her through the laser wash. We'll see.
Today was back to work as usual. One lady in the office called in due to a death in her family. Seems kind of suspicious considering someone kicks it in her family at least every other week. Besides, the fact, the boss is on vacation. I finally got caught up on my work. But I forsee tons more to come. Oh joy. Well I guess that's about all that happened today.
It's getting late and I'm tired from my DansKinetics class I had tonight. Oh yeah, I joined that class up at H.C.C. and I had to laugh because our instructor looks like Mr. Lean Goodbody with less of an afro (for those of you 25 and older and remember only having cartoons on Saturday mornings should know who that is). Tomorrow is my mixology class. We get to learn how to make Manhattans and Martinis!! Yay.
