amelia earhart
lor told me last night that they found amelia earhart... or what seems to be her remains and a crashed plane in some deserted island off the coast of the US. they're still testing the DNA but they're almost sure it's her.
i got goosebumps and my eyes watered up a little. (i get really affected with anything to do with planes. don't know why... but i'm betting it has something to do with my phobia.) i was happy. happy that the mystery has finally been solved and she could "rest in peace". yet, saddened by the fact that the mystery HAS been solved and that she really did die.
i guess it's just comforting to know sometimes that there are things yet to be discovered, mysteries yet to be solved, and unexplained magic in this world...
