i'm boycotting mcdo.

they didn't want to give us TWO MEASLY PLASTIC SPOONS when we bought their shrek float this afternoon.

of course i'm not stupid. i know that there are STRAWS and that you don't really need a spoon for it. but THE HELL! who are they to dictate how i consume my beverage?!!! if i want to eat the ice cream first than let it melt and mix with the softdrink, then it is MY RIGHT TO DO SO. besides, we BOUGHT it. it's not as if we just went in and asked for one.

in the end, the manager had to give us the spoons because there were other people around and we were really pissed off. it was so ridiculous! but he had to say something about it in his nasal know-it-all voice: "o, bibigyan ko na kayo ng spoons NGAYON. pero NEXT TIME, hindi na pwede."

WTF?!!

stupid stupid good-for-nothing manager.

i couldn't vote today. i want to but because of this US citizenship, i couldn't. thank god the public's a lot wiser now. i would give up believing in this country if goma, montano or even pacquiao won. no offense, i don't hate them or anything, but we've had enough actors-turned-sudden-politicians already and look at where it got us?

it's just really sad that there's obviously going to be cheating involved. watching the news is simply heartbreaking. brownouts, killings, ballot box snatchings, bribery, problems with the list of voters... the worse part is, even if the public's already informed, who could do anything about it?

i feel sorry for our maid. she's been prepared with her list of candidates weeks ago. she was so excited to vote, she's been campaigning for her buhay party list (she's in el shaddai) forever and she woke up really early this morning to go to the precinct... only to find out that her name wasn't on the list. she even went to another precinct to check again but it still wasn't there. the people in charge at the voting stations didn't know what to do about it. didn't even cared.

can the philippines ever have a clean election?
