Thanks to
groffiction , who really had no clue since she hasn't gotten this far yet, for giving me a prompt about doing what happens in this chapter ;) So, I really hope you enjoy this!
Hailey walked into the prison gate with the gun in her purse and a smile on her face. Okay, yes, she didn't like the fact she just retrieved the thing she had to kill Adam with, but at least she wasn't going to get killed by Crystal!
The moment Crystal saw her walk through the door, her gaze flew to the purse. Hailey sighed.
"All you care about is the gun, huh?" She asked, seeing Crystal ignore her and reach helplessly through her 'cage' towards the purse. "Apparently so. Well, you can have it if you want."
"No," Crystal snapped, retracting her hand away quickly, "I just wanted to make sure you had it. But, I guess you do have possession. Ugh, Hailey, you need to be more careful of where you leave this thing!"
Hailey groaned. "I hid it good, but....someone took it. Luckily, I found who it was. Dude's card fell out when he came in. His dopey assistant or whatever was fiddling with it and he gladly handed it over."
Crystal sighed and sat down on her bed. "Hailey, you need to hurry up and do this. As the days go by, those two get closer together and they keep believing that they can get through this! I can't let this baby down, Hailey! It needs it's father!"
Hailey froze. "What the hell are you talking about, Crystal?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kris actually had pretty normal dream that night. He'd been playing for a crowd at Disney World, a dream he'd had before, and was singing to Adam his whole heart.
Speak of the devil....
Suddenly, Kris bolted upright in bed, only to be pulled down by something around his wrists.
"What the-" Oh, he thought, they're just ropes.
Oh no.
Adam.
"Adam?" He called uncertainly. There was no reply. "Adam," he said a little louder, "why am I tied to the bedposts?"
Again, no reply.
But, lucky for Kris, Adam came in soon after, wearing his favorite 'Queen' t-shirt and a sensible pair of jeans with a pleasant smirk on his face.Kris could just tell he was in trouble for the day before.
"Hello Kristopher," he sweetly said when he reached the end of the bed, "wanna' go to get some ice cream?"
"Uh, I think I'm a little tied up right now, thank you very much..."
"I'll untie you," Adam said rolling his eyes, "but only if you agree to going to get ice cream with me and to follow whatever I say."
"You said nothing about listening."
Adam smirked. "I could just let you lay there while I mindlessly tease you-"
"I can go for that," Kris interrupted in a chirp, "I'm not that hungry, anyway."
"Just come with me, Kris. Believe me, you'll be more happy if you come with me to the ice cream store."
"Fine. Now, untie me."
Worrying Kris even more, Adam looked to Kris and giggled as he walked out the door. "Um, no thanks, Kris!"
Kris gasped. "ADAM! ADAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!"
I hope a pelican hits into him and knocks down his ice cream...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Crystal," Hailey repeated with a shocked expression, "what baby and what father?"
Crystal sighed and mentally slapped herself. It was going to come out anyway...
"Hailey......sweetie.......I.....I got knocked up by Kris after our whole 'rape' ordeal. It....it's his baby."
Hailey nearly choked on her own tongue. "WHAT?????? Are you SERIOUS????"
She nodded and placed her hand over her stomach. "Yes. Completely serious."
"Well, then you're going to have to give Kris that baby."
"NO," Crystal screeched loudly, "I'M NOT GIVING ADAM THE SATISFACTION OF RAISING THIS BABY WITH HIM!"
"Well, than who's gonna' raise it, Crystal? Kris can't take care of a baby alone and you are in here for quite a long while."
Crystal groaned and got up. She ran up to the bars and pulled Hailey close, nearly knocking her out by the crash between her head and the cold metal rods. "You are going to make things happen, girl. You are going to kill Adam for me, and then help Kris raise the baby for me."
Hailey bursted out laughing. "Yeah, like I can do THAT!" Suddenly, she was once again slammed against the bars.
"You will. Understand?"
Hailey nodded.
"I need you to do this before I'm 6months. Right now, I'm 5 months. That gives you....3 weeks."
Hailey's mouth hit the floor and a shiver went up her spine. She couldn't do this in 3 weeks. No way, no how.
"Also....I'm going to try to leave this joint about then to watch. I'm not letting you trick me."
"Crystal," Hailey whispered, "I...I can't do this..."
"But you will, remember?"
Hailey stomped her foot and let out what sounded like a strangled growl. "You are MESSED UP!"
"Can't wait to see it all go down," she said devilishly, motioning for Hailey to leave, "see you in 3 weeks!"
"Yeah," Hailey scoffed as she reached the door, "we'll see about that."
Crystal watched Hailey leave with a smile, laying back down on her bed with one hand behind her head and one head laying protectively on top of her stomach, where the baby was.
The baby girl, that is.
Little did she know, though, that just as she was watching Hailey leave, another set of eyes was watching.
Eyes that belonged to a certain blondie who now had some juicy stuff to report to a certain brunette and red-head.....

"How could you let her just TAKE the gun, A.J.?"
A.J. now stood in the middle of David's office with fear in his eyes as David circled him in sheer annoyance. He'd been yelling at him for the past day and a half of work about this, never stopping even once to catch his breath, and A.J. was beginning to feel pretty bad.
"I didn't know, okay?" He finally yelled out, "She was PRETTY and was really flirtatious!"
"SHE PROBABLY HAS ALREADY HIDDEN THAT GUN, A.J.! YOU JUST PUT A YOUNG KID AND FAMILY FRIEND'S LIFE IN GRAVE DANGER ALL BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T ACT PROFESSIONAL FOR ONCE IN YOUR GOD FORSAKEN LIFE!"
"I DIDN'T KNOW," A.J. screamed out in defense, "SHE SAID SHE KNEW YOU!"
"AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN THINK TO CHECK HER OUT BEFORE SHE COMES ASKING FOR A MURDER WEAPON?"
"SORRY, OKAY?"
David slammed his hand on his desk. "IT WON'T CUT IT, A.J.! Ugh, Leila's going to be worried sick, let alone the boys. Oh gosh....the boys...I have to tell Leila! You....you just get out of this room and stay out. Oh, and if any 'pretty' girls come in asking for any other potential murder weapons, SAY NO, OKAY?"
A.J. groaned and then nodded, getting out of the room as David frantically ran out.
Gosh, all I did was give her that gun......what an over-reactor.

Kris sat down on the rubbery seat in the 50's style diner patiently as his lover-Adam, of course!-rounded up their cones and waited behind the glass for them. Finally, he got them and returned back, sitting down with a cute smile, scaring Kris a bit. He himself had only snatched a chocolate bar from the snack machine outside, considering he'd had been fed under the restraint of handcuffs earlier a full bacon and eggs breakfast, and Adam had gotten his favorite, mint chocolate chip. After a minute, Adam took a big, oddly sexy, lick and then licked his lips afterwords, staring directly into Kris's eyes.
Suddenly, Kris realized Adam's plan.
He was going to have to freakin watch Adam devour that ice cream cone in front of little kids without being able to do a freakin thing about it but whimper.
The rookie knew a few things, apparently.
"You suck," Kris flatly said as Adam took another big lick.
"Um, I think that's more what you do, but, I can make an exception if you absolutely need it."
Kris wanted to pinch himself. Adam just made one of the world's worst innuendo jokes to say in a public setting in front of three year olds and their mothers.
If I just take that plastic knife....
"Watch me, Kristopher."
Kris jumped and then locked his eyes directly on the older boy's tongue, wishing, begging that they weren't in a public setting with toddlers right then. How the parents didn't realize what Adam was doing, he had no clue. Seriously, if he'd be an ordinary housewife with his own toddler, he'd easily notice a glittery alien practically making out with an ice cream cone.
But, then again, he wasn't no ordinary housewife, now was he?
Soon, when Kris's breath became uneven and almost embarrassingly loud, Adam let up on Kris and ate up the rest of his ice cream, putting Kris out of his misery.
"You're just going to leave me breathing like this until tonight, huh?"
Adam giggled and reached out to gently tap Kris on the nose in amusement. "No no no, you're not getting anything tonight."
"But....but...I caved in last night! I deserve something!"
"You will, young grasshopper," Adam said as he got up from his seat, "but you must learn how to wait, first."
"You suck."
"I thought I told you-"
"Don't," Kris warned, his eyes looking around to see the little kids with their mothers. "There's too many kids here."
"Fine," Adam caved. "Let's go sit outside. I saw a little duck pond down a block and I'd like to check it out, if I do say so myself."
"Sounds fantastic," Kris said sarcastically. "Blue billed duck, meat blue b-"
"Kristopher," Adam teased with a smirk and light tap on his butt, "think of the children."
The two walked out in laughter, but little to Kris's knowing, there were a few mothers behind them that were far from laughing.
And frankly, if he'd seen them, he'd probably not have even cared.

"Brad, Crystal wants Hailey to kill Adam in 3 weeks time," Tommy huffed out breathlessly as he stood in front of him, Allison, and Ben at the mall. "I just saw and heard it 30 minutes ago."
"Oh my goodness," Allison said worriedly, "what the heck are we going to do?"
Ben shrugged. "Well, isn't Hailey on our side? Like, she said she didn't want to kill him."
Brad scoffed. "And you trust her? I mean, yeah, she was kind of on our side, but if her constant visits to Crystal aren't enough proof, she's not too hesitant to follow what that psychopath asks of her."
"Crystal's also going to follow Hailey when the time comes. You know," Tommy explained, "so she can make sure Hailey does follow through with this."
"Ugh, what the hell's her problem?" Ben growled. "I almost would feel sorry for Hailey if we didn't have reason to suspect she's going to kill Adam."
"I agree," Allison said with a joking smile. "I mean, I'd hate to have to work for miss ugly-face-psychopath everyday. Ugh."
Brad groaned. "Guys, normally, I'd be all for your shenanigans and jokes, but guys, this is serious. Addie's life is in danger and we have to find a way to protect it even more now that we have a set date of three weeks from today. So, Tommy, tell us, is that all the gist from what they talked about today?"
"Uhh.....yeah. Yeah, that's all."
Okay, yes, Tommy should've told them about the baby thing and all. But, at the time, he didn't want them to become more worried.
This wasn't a good decision, though....
"Good," Brad said, "we at least have stuff to work on. 'Kay guys, get to work! We've got a glittery alien to save!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Half way to the duck pond, a lady in a very pretty dress and big hat just a few feet from them suddenly dropped her cell phone, watching in horror as the ink phone clanged to the ground far from her reach. With many bags in her hands, that was going to be a tough thing to deal with. Luckily for her, Adam had noticed, and the gentleman he was, he walked up to the phone, picked it up, and walked up to the lady in the big hat.
"Hey, um, here's your.....oh. Oh! Oh my gosh!"
The lady wasn't no ordinary lady.
It was Lady freakin Gaga.
Adam wanted to do a back flip.
"Yes?" She edged on in a warm and friendly voice.
"Lady Gaga.....oh my gosh, I....I can't believe it...oh my gosh, Kris, get your butt over here!"
Gaga smirked. "Kris?"
"M-my boyfriend. Actually, my fiance'. Ah," he said as Kris came up next to him star-struck, "here he is."
"A cutie, indeed," Gaga said with a smile. "So, if he's Kris, you must be....?"
"Oh," Adam said blushing, "I'm Adam. Adam Lambert."
"Nice to meet you. Anyway, thank you for getting my cell. I'm tied up right now, as you can see."
Adam nodded. "Yeah, um, it's no problem. Really, it's no big deal."
Gaga giggled. "So, where are you guys heading off to?"
"The duck pond," Kris spoke up in a slightly more-profound southern accent.
"Oh," she replied, "that sounds wonderful! Well....." she said, reaching into her pocket and barely pulling out a piece of paper with writing on it, "if you ever need anything, Adam Lambert, you call that first number listed there. The others are in case I have to change my number because some delusional maniac finds out my number somehow. Anyway, I must get going. Nice to meet you two!"
"You too!" The boys called out simultaneously as she walked down the sidewalk away from them. Adam giggled and they looked at each other with big grins.
"This day can't possibly get better than this. Heck, I have a feeling it's not gonna' get worse, either!"
Suddenly, his cell rang. Adam took it out and stared blankly at the caller.
Leila.
He quickly answered. "Mom?"
"Honey, you and Kris need to get home right now."
"Why?"
"My friend David just came over and said you guys are in grave danger. Get the hell home, Adam."
Adam groaned and then took Kris's hand, dragging them towards their cars and away from the pond without even telling him a word. Kris was pissed.
"We're coming. Bye."
Once his cell was snapped shut, Kris started to ask.
"What the hell, Adam, where are you taking me? What happened that's making you all jumpy like this?"
With a groan, Adam quickened his step, and then without looking at him, Adam replied, low and angry.
"I was corrected."
