Thank you togroffiction  for this amazing banner =)

A/N: Okay, I hope you will love the song Adam will sing here =) (I know u people that have told me you want it now will :P) It came to me all of a sudden and I just loved it. Basically, Train saved me =) This chapter just made me incredibly happy to write. I kinda' brushed away from the whole age obstacle that I'm still kicking myself for making (lol), so don't worry =) {you'll see!!!!!} Oh, and I didn't break my vow to get this early to you :P It's Saturday! LOL enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

PS: I HIGHLY suggest that you listen to Adam's song when it's in the story. The feel of the song fits the moment and if you don't you may not get the mood of the song completely =)

Julie was a ball of energy after getting ice cream, and aside from Brad constantly calling Adam to beg for him and Kris to come, everything was going pretty nicely. Leila had called a few times to give updates, and from what she had told, Carrie was doing just fine, including the baby. She said that Carrie was a little short of two hours from pushing and that Julie would be able to come over when that time would come. Lucky for Brad, that meant they could go to the dance club later that night just in time. But, luck for one meant tragedy for another.

Adam and Kris had nothing to wear.

And that meant they had to go out and shop.

With little 6 year old Julie.

At Skingraft and various places in the mall.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Okay, I can't imagine you wearing this, Adam," Julie said with a giggle as she pointed to a black leather jacket with tons of fur and a diamond collar. Adam smirked and took the jacket off the hook, trying it on quickly for Julie, regardless of Kris's pleads for him not to and that the sooner they left, the better. Once Adam was finished putting it on, he showed Julie how he looked.

"Wow," she said, a bit astonished, "you actually don't look like a freak. You actually look kinda-"

"Hot," Kris finished, his chocolaty eyes wide as he gazed at the jacket. "Very hot."

"Indeed," came a voice behind the group, making everyone turn in curiosity. It was a worker from the store with bright blond hair that seemed to go off to the side perfectly. Adam thought that was the coolest thing ever. "I'm Tommy," he said outstretching his hand to Adam, then to Kris, "and I'm kind of co-manager of this little store. Kinda' amazing when you're only 17, huh? But hey, that's what happens when "

"You're hair is cool," Julie blurted out happily, making all three of the older guys smile.

"Well thank you," Tommy replied with a giggle, "and what's your name?"

Julie bit her lip and blushed. "Julie......you can call me Julia if you think that's prettier..."

"Hey, you don't even let me call you that, and I've known you since you were a baby!" Adam childishly shouted at his little cousin, earning her sticking her tongue out at him before she turned back to Tommy. Tommy patted her head and turned his attention back to the jacket Adam was wearing.

"You know, I actually helped create that jacket. It's one of my favorite."

"One of mine now, too," Adam replied, smiling at how he looked. "Hey, you think you could help us find something to wear? We're going to that new club and-"

"I know exactly what to do," Tommy interjected with a laugh. "I've been there enough times already to know what is the style there. How's about you guys tell me your sizes, and I'll find something for ya'."

Kris shrugged. "Sure."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An hour later, Adam and Kris had found their outfits and had said goodbye to Tommy-having to pry Julie away from him. They were sitting at Adam's home contently in each other's arms as Julie watched 'Beauty and The Beast' on TV near her toys. Adam rested his head gently on top of Kris's and sighed.

"I can't wait to play my song for you on Monday."

"Likewise. Mine is going to be fun. Gosh, I wish you could hear it earlier."

Suddenly, Adam had an idea. "Why don't we sing them tonight at the club? I heard tonight is open mic night!"

"You kidding?"

"Does it  look like I am?"

"Oh boy."

"Just be glad Tommy found good outfits for you and me to wear," Adam cheerfully said. "We'd otherwise be making fools out of ourselves."

"Adam, my song is a country song."

"Oh dear Lord."

"Yup."

Suddenly, Adam's cell rang. Kris picked it up since Adam was too busy contemplating what to do about the country song.

"Hello?"

"Kris," Leila's happy voice said on the other line, "you better get your boyfriend over here ASAP so that he can see his new baby cousin. And bring Julie, too."

Kris smiled and got up from the couch. "Okay Leila, we'll be right there. Bye."

"Is the baby born yet?" Julie said on the ground.

"As a matter of fact, yes, it is! Now we've got to head on over there!"

"YES!"

"Oh no."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"See Julie? She has the same color eyes as you." Carrie said as she held Terri, her new baby girl, for Julie to see. She had dirty blond hair and the cutest face ever. The best part was the she was fully grown and completely healthy. Adam couldn't help but let a few tears spill over at the sight of her. Noticing this, Carrie called him over.

"Adam....do you want to hold your new cousin?"

Adam quickly nodded and slowly took Terri into his arms. She immediately cuddled into his arms and let out a small contented yawn. Kris smiled and took to his side, gazing beside his shoulder at the little bundle of joy.

"She looks so happy to be in your arms," Kris quietly observed, gently running his finger along her forehead on the soft and warm skin.

"I can tell. Kris.....can you imagine having one of these little bundles as our own? I mean.....having to wait for nine months for someone you'll spend the rest of your life loving? Being.....being a parent?"

"You'll be a great father," Kris quietly murmured, ignoring the question. "I can just tell. Kids love you."

"She looks so cute. I can't imagine...I can't believe that one day....I'm going to have one of these that will be mine and will love me no matter what."

"All the little kids you meet love you. Terri loves you already."

"A kid you'll have to teach forever and ever...."

"A kid that will love you forever and ever."

Adam smirked and finally acknowledged Kris's banter by putting his free arm around his shoulder and placing a small kiss on his forehead.

"I can't wait to have a baby that will look like you."

"We'd have to get married first, Mr. Anxious," Kris said, elbowing Adam slightly. "Don't forget that."

"Are you hinting at something, Kris, or am I just being over-sensitive?" Adam said with a sly look to his boyfriend. "Before we got into that whole big marriage thing that we got into a huge discussion about, now we're talking about how we need to get married to have a baby.....is it me or do you bring that up a lot?"

Kris sighed and looked down at his feet shyly. He looked guilty in Adam's eyes. "Adam....I.....I'm sorry for voicing that I want something!"

"Kris, you know we can't get married yet."

"So I can't dream of it?" Kris snapped back defensively. "I can't say that I want to be married to you?"

"You-"

"Boys," Carrie said sternly behind them, "if you're going to fight, give me back my daughter. She's too young to hear bickering."

Kris blushed in embarrassment and mouthed 'sorry' to Carrie, catching a glimpse of Adam giving Terri apologetically to her before he took him back towards the back of the small room. Adam sighed and leaned against the wall, not once taking his gaze off of Kris.

"I'm not going to say anything about the fight," Adam whispered to him expressionless, "so you'll just have to wait until tonight."

"For what?" Kris asked as he saw Adam move to the door, nodding as a goodbye to Carrie and Leila.

"You'll see."

"But-"

Adam quickly raised his hand to silence him and then walked out the doors. Kris sped off through the white doors after him, still curiously begging for an explanation.

Little did he know, that explanation Adam had planned would be exactly what he wanted..

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Brad, quit your whining. Adam will be here with Kris as soon as the little twink stops making out with him and lets him get dressed," Allison groaned with her ears covered as a nervous Brad tapped his fingers on the marble table that sat at. He had ordered about 3 refills of coke in a matter of minutes and hadn't stopped chatting since they walked through the door. Ben had since moved between Jamie and Gabby from his original spot next to Brad and used his napkins and the gentle beat of the music to drown out even more of his relentless banter.

Frankly, Ben was three seconds away from wringing Brad's neck if he didn't shut up.

Suddenly, to Brad's surprise and Ben's luck, Adam and Kris entered into the club wearing simply fabulous outfits. Adam had a dark black shirt with a dark brown leather jacket on and black leather jeans that had pockets near the ankles while Kris had on a cream jacket with a tight black undershirt, equipped with equally dark black jeans. They entered together like movie stars and made everyone just notice them. They then split apart-Kris sitting down with the group, Adam going off to see if he could sing. As Kris sat down at the table, everyone could tell something was up with Kris. He wasn't smiling his usual eye-to-eye grin and kind of wasn't paying attention to anyone's conversation. Finally, Brad broke the uncomfortable silence Kris was starting.

"Are you okay, Kris? You seem like something is up."

Kris took a exhausted sigh and reluctantly told Brad. "Adam and I kind of are in a little three day spat about a really big issue and...well....I think he's mad at me."

"Has he said he is?" Jamie asked questioningly.

"No," Kris admitted, "but he seems a little annoyed about it and he told me that tonight he has a surprise for me. I don't know about you, but I'm kind of worried what that just may be."

Ben snorted and took a sip of his drink with a sly smile. "I bet it's something fabulous. Adam can't stay mad at anyone for long."

"When you broke up with him, it took you two pretty quick to make up," Brad pointed out in agreement. "I think it'll be good. I mean, he is singing tonight, I presume."

"We both are," Kris replied, "but mine is.....well, not exactly that fitting any more."

Casey rolled her eyes. "I bet you'll do a great job at it, though. And not every song has to have a meaning."

"Yeah," Jamie agreed, "the meaning could just be the fact you want to sing it!"

Kris shrugged and leaned back into his leather seat on edge. He could only sit back, listen to the music, and hope that his friends were right.

Hope.

"Give it up for Royal D. Raptor and his band for that amazing performance!" the guy who was running open mic night said through the applause. "Now, everyone, I think it's time for a dance that you can dance with your lovers to. So, everyone, grab whoever you love and give it up for Adam Lambert!"

The whole group nearly gasped as Adam took to the stage, snatching an acoustic guitar in his hand with a pleasant smile. Everyone looked to him from their partners with a smile.

"Hello everyone," Adam said with a kind voice, "I'm Adam, as you know, and...well...this next song is a song I wrote for my special someone last night. It could go for some of you others out here, but for my love that's in the crowd tonight.....this one's for you, babe. Enjoy."

"Forever can never be long enough for me. Feel like I've had long enough with you. Forget the world now we won't let them see. But there's one thing left to do. Now that the weight has lifted. Love has surely shifted my way. Marry Me...today and every day. Marry Me. If I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe, say you will. Mm-hmm. Say you will..mm-hmm."

Kris gazed up on stage at his boyfriend singing and felt all his worry lift away. His heart ached with the love he was feeling.

Adam sooooooooooooooo wrote this right.

"Together can never be close enough for me. Feel like I am close enough to you. You wear white and I'll wear out the words I love you...and you're beautiful. Now that the wait is over...and love and has finally shown him my way. Marry Me...today and every day. Marry Me. If I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe, say you will. Mm-hmm. Say you will..mm-hmm."

Before he hit the bridge, Adam gazed down from the stage at everyone in the club. Couples-even some gay couples-were dancing together contently as the nice guitar music filled the room. Then, when Adam looked at Kris, his heart melted. Kris was frozen in place as he stared at Adam in tears. He knew Kris understood.

He was succeeding.

"Promise me...... you'll always be.....happy by my side. I promise to.....sing to you....when all the music dies. And Marry Me...today and everyday. Marry Me. If I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe, say you will. Mm-hmm. Say you will! Mm-hmm. Marry Me....mm-hmm..."

And that's when it happened. Adam hopped down from the stage, leaving the guitar on the stage, bent down on one knee, and showed Kris a small box that opened to show a gorgeous black and silver ring. The crowd all looked and gasped anxiously to see what was to happen next. Kris's heart stopped.

"Kristopher Neil Allen, I'm not asking for any time soon, but, I don't want you to be any one else's. You're my world, in case you haven't noticed, and I love you more than anything. You get your wish. Will you marry me once we get old enough?" Adam asked with a smirk, feeling the whole club's eyes on him and Kris. Kris finally managed enough air to say one word, and his heart pounded frantically as he said it.

"Yes."

Adam smiled immediately and picked Kris up off his feet to embrace him in a giant hug that only they could pull off. Then, they kissed, and man, was it a kiss. After what seemed like forever in a sea of applause, they ended the kiss, going back into the huge hug for a moment. The guy who ran the open mic then came out on stage again with a huge smile on his face, knowing everything that happened.

"Adam Lambert, everyone! Let's give him and his new boy some applause!"

As everyone cheered, Brad looked on with a bright and proud smile. He tapped Ben's hand and smiled happily.

"I knew it from the start."

"Huh?" Ben asked, his face turning up with a confused look to his face.

"Kradam is forever. I knew it, even when I dated Adam." Brad smiled, watching the couple hugging happily together with tears in their eyes.

"I knew it."

To be continued..................duh, that ain't the end =) Far from it my friends!!!!!!!!
