Oh wow. I've read a lot of Kradam fic, but I think this is the first time I've actually been inspired to comment. This was absolutely LOVELY. You have a unique style that I really like--the hints of writer's voice fit nicely and were totally non-intrusive (as many are).

As for the plot...bittersweet. I had tears in my eyes. I loved Kris' struggle to choose what was "right" and Adam's struggle not to care so much. And that end line? *heart breaks*

Adam rushes forward, crumpling in Kris's arms. They stay that way until the tears stop coming. He edges back, a little. Gray eyes meet brown ones. Lips collide.

God, that's gorgeous. I got chills. The rest of that scene was beautifully and tastefully written as well.

I also must say, I loved the insertion of Danny in the end. He gets such a bad wrap by a lot of Adam fans, but I think the two of them really are good friends, and the way he comforted Adam here was perfect.

I'm glad you got what I was trying to go for with this. I've never done a story with a narrative or writer's voice quite like this, so I just tried to channel my inner Meredith Grey and hoped for the best. :)

Yeah, I'm not even a fan of Danny, but I don't think he ought to be vilified 24/7, so I wanted to throw a little something in there to make him sympathetic. I'm sure he and Adam get along great.
