“Neil.” Tommy said laughing and it was like he just wanted to wipe that smile right off of his face. “Neil would you just slow down.”
“Slow down? Slow down? I’m going fucking insane here and you tell me to slow down?”
“You’ve always been insane…so I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.”
“Wow, thanks a lot there. Thanks a fucking lot. ”
“Ok. So, maybe you should get off of me so we can talk about this.”
“I think I went through enough embarrassment for one day.” Neil said slowly pushing his self up using the counter’s edge for leverage. “Really, I don’t need more. I think I’m going to leave.”
“No. Don’t leave. We should talk about this.”
“Tommy, really. We should just leave it the fuck alone. My brother is fucking in love with you and I shouldn’t fucking do this to him. He’s not going to ever forgive me. Its stupid. Really. I should have thought longer about this. But I went with what my gut was telling me. My gut told me to jump for it. To take a leap. And here I am. Making a fool out of myself. ”
“Clearly you’ve thought about it. You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t. And I would be lying if I said I haven’t thought about this before either. I have. And believe it or not, I’m surprised that you made the move before I could.” Tommy said.
“What?”
“I’ve been trying to decide for months whether to make some kind of move or not. And I’m kind of glad you made it.”
“You’re a fucking asshole you know that?” Neil said pushing Tommy back into the counter, pressing every ounce of his body against him. “You should have said something. The least you could have done was fucking said something. I wouldn’t have felt like I was losing my mind right before my eyes.”
Tommy nodded as he reached up and gripped Neil’s hair, pulling him into a kiss that probably could have went on for forever.
