My only problem with Mike Gravel is that because he has such a set position and such a no-bullshit, no-pandering platform (Both enviable, awesome things, don't get me wrong), he isn't playing to the crowd and will thus not get the election - assuming he was even nominated to the Republican platform, which I doubt.
