am still reading - well, looking for things to read, but thanks to recs and things. however, Thai history, and also Queen Suriyothai, seem super awesome & v interesting; one example here.

A Walk Through Time. Ooh. And I recently found rather interesting links pages (oh, internet!) about China, and then about Japan, and then found that there is a whole list of lots of pages with links regarding various ancient civilizations. Here is the NYT on Bhutan and Gross National Happiness, an analysis of secret languages in game playing, and CNN re: "a miracle fruit that turns sour things sweet" from a couple months or so ago.

and a picture, albeit previously seen, of very hot Chiwetel Eijofor, because that could never hurt.
