Hmm, let's see.. Yesterday... Was a great day. It started out with my screwing with my router all day trying to open up ports and update firmware so I could host games on CS/Warcraft/etc, and so my occassional lag for no reason while play FFXI stopped. Now I'm not so sure the latter is fixed, but I fixed the not being able to host stuff problem, haven't gotten a chance to see if the FFXI thing still happens or not, it shouldn't though. >.>
I also joined Arcadia yesterday. After some serious thought, and coming to the realization that at least 5 other people in PD were in different HNM lses as well, I decided that it couldn't hurt. Plus, gives me something to do aside from sitting in Jeuno all day waiting for a goddamn party. Hopefully I'll still be able to help PD, seeing as how Rhyse will hound me to either way, haha. Plus I kind of want to... It's so freaking gay having friends on different sides of the same fence. -_-;
Oh, Worldshifting was announced today on POL. Not quite sure what I'm going to do yet, I have until like Oct. 3 to find out anyway. Part of me wants to leave, because the economy on our server is gay as hell, plus it's overcrowded and there's a good number of people I dislike on it. The other part of me doesn't want to, because I'm sure there will be friends that won't want to go, or can't, or have something tying them down to Midgard. I kind of wish they didn't give the option at all.
If I do Worldshift though, I hope the server has a cool name that people can freaking pronounce/spell. Like.. Masamune, something simple. It's funny and sad to see people constantly spell Midgard: Midgarsorymer, or something along those lines.
On a seperate note, being sick blows. I know most people don't need to be told this little fact, but I haven't been sick in years, now comin down with whatever I have is hitting me like a brick. >_> Hopefully if I keep chuggin this Nyquil it'll go away quick, I'm not going to hold my breath though. --;
I don't think I'll be getting CoP until Friday, maybe later. I have other things to buy, and I really think it won't help me much to get it right away. The new areas will be packed, especially Emptiness which is restricted to level 30 I think. Though, I think it's located somewhere in the northlands, so maybe you'll need to be higher than 30 to get there. That'd be interesting, kind of annoying for lower level jobs or the level 30 guys running around. You'd have to get to level 40 or so, just to get knocked back down to 30 when you actually get there. Maybe that's not how it works though, guess I should look it up before I start making idiotic guesses about it. <.< >.>
Oh, right now, I'm approx. 3.5k away from 72, with a nearly full suit of errant in my inventory, and it's annoying me to all hell. I haven't been able to get a party in about 3 days, and the parties I DO get, do stupid things like, inviting mostly 74-75's then going to kuftal to level, or on the other side of the spectrum, inviting a load of 70-71's and going to Ro'Maeve to level. I find it hard to believe there's such a shortage of level 71-73 players around. :| Now that I think about it, I better get my leveling done before the worldshift, otherwise I'll be even further screwed for leveling, hahaha. --;
I guess I'll keep myself entertained in parties by asking my friends whether they're going to worldshift or not. >.> I like the idea of starting fresh.. Well, sort of fresh anyway. It might be nice to meet people from other servers too, and a new economy would be awesome, hopefully the impatient idiots will stay on Midgard... If I decide to shift that is, otherwise I want them off my server. :D
