Alta blinked at the sight of golden-haired lady standing near the Emperor, then smiled softly, “Hello again, ‘little Serenity’.”
Serenity looked surprised, “I don’t think- Oh!” she looked delighted as old and fond memories stirred and rose to the surface of her mind, “You remember!”
“Somewhat,” Alta touched her forehead lightly, “what is there is disconnected pieces that come when something familiar to them happens, or when I see something equally familiar,” she added her quiet smile deepening, she shift her gaze to the burning gold figure of Emperor who had been watching this conversation with a raised eyebrow.
“Your Majesty,” she curtseyed smoothly, “my sincerest thanks for caring for my Princess.”
‘His Majesty’s’ eyebrow only rose further as he looked from Serenity to this dusky-skinned woman who greeted her so familiarly.
“Do I wish to know?” he queried bemusedly, while The Lion and Luther looked on with increasing confusion.
Both women only glanced at each other and laughed.
