I wonder if you know this guy?
I just had the weird realization that the 27 year old pedophile who was recently killed by a 13 year old girl's father (with a shotgun after the guy came back to the house after talking to the mom). 27. That means like pretty much my age, like I wonder who this guy was. I wonder if he used to hang out at Prolo or Rudz? Actually, probably more like a Poison Girl kinda guy, but anyway, that's weird.
On a legal note, from the way the story is told, it appears that the father decided to murder this guy, and should face the charges for making that decision. If a 27-year-old is fucking your 13-year-old daughter, the just (and legal) action is to have the guy arrested. Vigilante justice should never be tolerated, or more precisely, choosing to do such things means that you are choosing the personal penalties you will receive. Much the same as in civil disobedience. I don't think that persons arrested for a good cause should receive any less than the fair treatment of the law. Sometimes you have to choose to accept the consequences.
Perhaps there are mitigating details which would drastically alter this interpretation, but as presented in the Chronicle, that's my opinion.
