Yesterday my Father was ringing round getting quotes for car insurance, and he was asking for quotes for just him, and then for him and me. One quote was £300 odd for just him, going up to £900 for the both of us! Who'd have thought I'd be such a risk. However, Wendy also rang up her insurers, and they said they could put me on the insurance until September for - wait for it - £15. I think this says something profound about the world. Wendy thinks it says something profound about her car. But the important thing is - I have a car I can drive!!! Not wanting to throw me in at the deep end or anything, Wendy sat me in her car and we went on the school run. Never have I learnt about how a clutch works so quickly. Naomi does not like driving the school run. The car took a little time getting used to, but to my complete surprise I was then trusted to drive it with no adult present but with Wendy's 15 year old daughter. I managed to get both car and daughter back unharmed :)
Yesterday I was trying to wrok out the logistics of getting to the library today, and my Father said something very strange to me. He asked me whether I had to go to the library. I gave him a puzzeled look and he said couldnt I just not go on the internet. I still cant understand the concept - Not going on the internet... how would I facebook? My father is a strange man.
