Что до меня, мне исключительно понравилось 1) платье Тильдочки нашей Суинтон (дальше - цитата):
TILDA SWINTON
Tilda chose her favourite designer of the moment, Haider Ackermann, and wore a dress that has been adapted from one of his short cocktail dresses featured in his Autumn 2012 Collection:-
I just love the coppery colour of this gown - it's an interesting metallic shade which we don't see that often - and I also love the tulip-shaped peplum which wraps itself round the long column skirt - a beautiful shape which reminds me of an elegant flower...
Tilda looks amazing in this, and I do hope she wears this kind of thing more often - she seems to have found something of a fashion soulmate in Haider Ackermann, and I think she looks fantastic in his designs, so I hope they stick together, although I wouldn't want to become bored by what she wears - however, if Tilda is anything, it certainly isn't boring !!

FAN BINGBING
Fan Bingbing went with a very original choice for her red carpet walk - this is a traditional-inspired gown in embroidered Chinese silk, designed by her friend and stylist, Christopher Bu Kewen, (the person responsible for that amazing red gown with white cranes all over it at last year's opening ceremony too) :-
This is a spectacular dress, isn't it ?!! The embroideries depict the stories of four beauties of ancient China, and her hairstyle is a traditional style from the Tang Dynasty apparently - this I love - she usually looks amazing on the red carpet and now, we are getting very original looks from Fan Bingbing, but ones that incorporate her Chinese heritage, which makes them all the more interesting !!

Неизвестно, как эта русская модель вообще попала на красную дорожку в Каннах, - пишет критик, - это женщина, когда-то засветившаяся на французском ТВ в реалти-шоу в 2003 году... Критик считает её саму и её наряд чокнутым ( прямая цитата на англ. ниже).

Heres travesty no. 1 - this Russian model, whose claim to fame is appearing on a French reality TV show as a contestant way back in 2003 - I mean, what in the world is she even doing on the Cannes red carpet, never mind why she is wearing what she's wearing ?!! She looks like Marie-Antoinette in the process of preparing to face her public, dressed in her purple dressing gown:-
Crazy hair, crazy dress, crazy woman...let's see more of her in the future !!
