I really loved the mention of Dean. :D And having this be from Cas' p.o.v does make it poignant but I think it's the right tone for it. Supernatural is hardly what you'd call a fluffy show.

It was quite necessary, given that the last thing that happened to Castiel was the events of "Point of No Return". And yes, Castiel makes it solemn, but the Doctor's POV in the next part definitely makes up for the lack of silly. ;D

Ah! I like Martha guiding Cas around. He could use a little TLC after PONR.
