Resident Evil RPG

This project of mine began after playing Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii.  While the game isn't the best it is defentatly made for fans.  The best part of Umbrella Chronicles is the new story content that leads up to Resident Evil 4 and 5.  Also there are unlockable players such as Wesker, Ada, and H.U.N.K.

Well this got me interested in Resident Evil (RE) again for RPGing.  It had been sometime since Joe, Dan, Eric, and I had played our own version of RE with Deadlands rules.  Joe did a great job running the campaign and I want the story to continue.  The only problem, besides me not liking my character much, there isn't a book for RE with Deadlands system rules.  Go figure!  Ok it wasn’t much of a problem we had fun with out that.  But as roleplaying being a hobby I wanted to write out the RE Book.  I had already done this for Wheel of Time and I think it turned out well.

I don't have any plans to run RE: RPG.  Just wanted to do this for fun.

First thing I asked myself: What sets RE apart from other zombie rpgs?  The zombies are slow and dumb compared to Deadlands zombies but that’s the least of your worries.  RE has countless monsters thanks to the T-Virus and G-Virus.  As a GameMaster you can create any type of zombieish monster.  Next you have the love/hate relationship with the Umbrella Corporation.

So far I have a very good list of weapons complete with damage, range, and special features, if any.  Most of the guns are taken from the video games but I mixed in some other sweet submachine guns, shotguns, etc.

Next is making the stats for most of the RE monsters.  Crimsonheads, Hunters, Tyrants, Eliminators...
