There's a guy (Don I think is his name) that works across the street from the bookstore (he does stuff like carpentry) that I've known for a few years. He has a dog named Spencer that's usually nice to me and lets me pet him..though a couple times when Don wasn't around and I tried saying hi he growled and tried to attack me (Don keeps him tied up next to his car and said maybe he was trying to protect the car or something). Don also isn't very nice to his dog..I've seen him kick/hit him and he YELLS at him (like I can be in the bookstore and I can hear him just SCREAMING at Spencer). Well..today I saw Spencer and went to say hi (though I was thinking I shouldn't since Don wasn't around). I thought it was ok since he was laying on the ground but then he just FLIPPED out and growled and FLUNG me back with his front legs! Luckily he didn't bite me!! I was just like "WTF..you know me!!" I asked one of the other workers to get Don and I just started crying told him what happened (ugh I hate being so sensitive sometimes). Don said Spencer has done that to other people too..he wondered if it's cause he never got fixed. I feel like he never trained him properly and his aggression rubbed off on Spencer or something..ugh. Don was very sorry that happened..I think he's gonna keep Spencer in his car now (he said the dog was grounded haha). Poor dog..some people shouldn't have animals :/ (I was glad to hug Abby when I got home!)
