Flew to England. Wooow it was cramped..the guy in front of me put his seat down..grr. The guy in back of me kept poking my seat! I put classical/opera music on and tried to sleep. Man I was going crazy at the end of the flight. But I did hear a Paganini song (Luca likes his music). Ohhh maaaan he played the fastest violin solo I've ever heard

We got there and got driven by this guy to Cindy and Dean's house..they still have one of their dogs (Bandit)..ohhh man he loves people haha. We went to this art show thing...STAGE LIGHT HEAVEN..it was huge! Unfortunately. Some of the art was just scribbles on paper! That's not art! Think about waaaay back then when people took forever just for one painting! THAT'S art. After like two hours there with all the people and tiredness and Cindy taking FOREVER looking at the art I HAD to get out of there and mom and I went outside and I BEGGED mom to tell Cindy to go and eventually we went back inside and I cried and then mom got the idea and we left soon after that. Then we went back to their house for the rest of the day. As if the day wasn't bad enough I threw up that night

First we went to a church near Cindy and Dean's house..Ryan said it was built in like 720! OMG! It was prettyful. Then we rode the train to London and got on the subway (whooo!) and saw the Houses of Parliament, the tower of Big Ben, the London Eye, the River Thames..so familiar haha! I heard Big Ben yay! We were gonna ride the Eye but the line was too long. Then we went to Westminster Abbey (a cathedral). This was my third time there haha. The poet Lord Byron is buried there! He's an awesome poet! I tried to translate the Latin there haha. When we got out of the cathedral the mostly blue sky had turned dark with storm clouds. We got on the subway again and went to Trafalgar Square. It commemorates Lord Nelson, who fought at the battle of Trafalgar. He only had one arm (he lost it in a battle or something) and had to learn to write with his left hand. He also got shot in the eye and got shot and Trafalgar but I'll write about that later. It was raining when we emerged from the subway but stopped like 10 seconds later and them became almost totally sunny. Woooow haha. Trafalgar Square (wow I really like the word Trafalgar lol) usually has tons of pigeons but there weren't many this time. Then we went to St. Martin-in-the-Fields (a church in Trafalgar Square). I had been wanting to go there since last time in London...it was prettyful...the organ was EPIC. I heard its bell lol (the church's, not the organ's haha). Then we went to Piccadilly Circus...it's not a circus at all.."circus" means intersection of streets. I used to be obsessed with it haha. There's neon signs there and a statue of Eros..it commemorates the Earl of Shaftesbury (isn't that an awesome word haha). It's supposed to be facing down Shaftesbury Avenue but even though it's been moved multiple times it never has..nice haha. There's shopping too..it hasn't changed a lot. We went into the London Trocadero (kinda like a mall) and got my pic done with me wearing a Victorian dress!! It was sooo awesomne! and We met Cindy and Dean there (they had to work) and ate and then saw the musical Wicked...OMG IT WAS SOOOO AWESOME!!! The lights were AMAZING and awesome eeeee! All the technical stuff was amazing!! The musical itself was REALLY good too. I loved it. STAGE LIGHTS ARE AWESOME. Then we went back to the house

We rode the train to London again and went to St. Paul's Cathedral...omg it's sooooo pretty!! I've been there before but I don't remember being that amazed! Lord Nelson is buried in the crypt. We walked up the stairs to the second level (the third was closed..too windy). OMG it was extremely cold and windy on the second level!! They played the organ while we were there too. We were gonna go to another church after that but had trouble finding it so we crossed a bridge and walked to a resturant called Giraffe near the Eye and met Dean there. OMG i had the best smoothie EVER. It was dark by then and we rode the Eye. OMG IT WAS SO AMAZING!!!!! The Houses of Parliament lit up..OMG *droooools* I saw Buckingham Palace, the flashy lights of Piccadilly, the column at Trafalgar Square, the night lights! Eeeeee!!! I was so happy haha. Even though the Eye takes like 30 minutes to go around all the way it went too fast! Then we went back to the house
Wednesday, March 21
Today we went to Windsor Castle. We had a tour of some of the outside. Then we went inside to these rooms...OMG some of them were so awesome and elegant! Some had these HUGE tapestries that must have taken FOREVER to make! I got a pic with a guard...OMG it was scary haha! Mom said he followed me with his eyes *SHIVERS* Then we did some shopping and went back to the house
Thursday, March 22
It SNOWED. We went to Portsmouth harbor and saw the HMS Victory, Lord Nelson's ship. We took a tour inside it...it was sooo awesome!! I saw the place where Nelson was shot and the place where he died. When he got shot it shattered his spine..OWWWW. While he was dying his friend told him he won the battle and Nelson said "thank God I've done my duty" and then he died. We also saw one of the Victory's sails...it was huuuuuuge..and part of it was rolled up! There was a TV showing clips from Master and Commander. I also saw the Mary Rose..it sunk in the 1500's I think right in front of King Henry the 8th..NICE haha. It was found again in the 60's or 70's..it was very well preseved cause of silt and TONS of things were found. We saw some of the things they found in a museum and we saw what's left of the Mary Rose..it's being sprayed with waxy stuff to preserve it. We saw more stuff (like Lord Nelson's stuff that he actually used) and we ate and went back to their house
Friday, March 23
We saw Marble Arch first..not sure what the significance is. Then we went to Leicester Square which had LOTS of theaters. I wanted to find a POTO sign lol. Then we went to Covent Garden..it's a shopping place. Mom and Cindy bought some jewelry. Next we went to another shopping place we saw on Tuesday..Cindy bought a jacket. We then looked for Temple Church and a church we were looking for on Tuesday but we ended up finding a totally different church called St. Bride's Church. It was the inspiration for the wedding cake and it was reaaaally old. Then we went back to Piccadilly Circus...I didn't wanna leaaaaave. Then we went back to the house and had Indian food and watched American Idol
I watched Happy Feet and read on the way home. Aaand that's my trip *bows* lol
