Something's different...

The choir or the lead singer wasn't leading the church today...they weren't even at the front. A teenager led the singing today...he was really good! Someone from my class did the sermon too! He didn't seem nervous at all and was very animated and his message was really good

I wrote a poem yesterday on Carcassonne...I can write good poetry if it's freeverse and I'm not forced to rhyme or something...MY POEM'S FROM THE HEART, MAN!

O my Carcassonne, ever are you grand!
You rise from the earth like a mighty sentenel
Watching over the land!

With towers of orange and blue,
And walls of stone,
You still stand as stong as you did
When you were first built.

How medieval you are!
Your walls shine like the sun!
How grand it is to walk inside your walls!

Save from a siege ages ago,
You are looked upon with awe.
You are a historian's delight!

The mighty church inside your walls,
With glorious stained glass and amazing music,
Begs all to come inside.

O Carcassonne! How I love you!

Today's Latin: magnos homines virtute metimur, non fortuna (we measure great men by their vurtue, not by their fortune)

"So I heard all about it, her voice's so clear. She's woven both themes in there, moved me to tears"--"When Sorrow Sang," Blind Guardian
