It's absolutely not perfect, but it is genuine, which is better than trying to be perfect lol (I tried doing other takes, but I ran out of energy :P). Abby makes an appearance too! Good afternoon! I’m on my way to Galveston with my mom’s family and Amanda! Amanda has been here for 2 days. It’s the 2nd time I’ve seen her in person. Yesterday we took a walk, swam (at night) with family, updated our online journals, watched Braveheart, and obsessed over Luca Turilli. We watched him talk…he has the coolest Italian accent! And he’s so hansome! Watching and listening to him play guitar is awesome too cause he’s insanely fast. We watched him talk over and over and took some screenshots. He’s so addicting! I love it when he says “Hi everybody, how are you? I’m Luca Turilli, guitarist of Rhapsody” and “his face, I love his face!” We try to talk like him and do his hand motions. He likes to say “no.” Like…”Luca is cool, no?” It’s addicting to talk like that. And now…Amanda shall say something!

Me and Amanda are both listening to Rhapsody (only different CDs). It’ll take 5 hours to get to Galveston. Kinda short, no? We’ll have Internet access there too. Yayness. The scenery is boring and really flat. [I’d lived in Texas for 16 years by then, why did that still surprise me?? Haha.] Amanda is headbanging lol! Ciao. Sorry I didn’t write more in Galveston. We did lots fun things and lots of obsessing lol! Anyway, today we are going to Wisconsin. Good morning! I just got up (it’s 9:30 AM). Yesterday we flew in and got picked up, then drove around the city…I obsessed over all the old buildings…old buildings rule. Then we ate breakfast and went back to [Teresa and Ron’s] house. We hung out and took a bike ride and a walk and played raquet ball (sp?). It was fuuun. They also have this 20q thing where you think of something and it asks you questions and guesses what you’re thinking. The 1st time I was thinking of Luca Turilli, and it guessed a celebrity…I was like OMG. It usually guessed what I was thinking too…it was awesome. Haha I just played with it again…it’s addictive! Last night I went to bed at 12 and slept very well. Now I gotta take a shower. Write later

Good afternoon! We just went to Holy Hill Church. It was awesome!! The building itself is very old and pretty and intricate.
We climbed 178 steps to the top of a tower…the view was awesome!
Wow, Ryan's hair was so long! Haha
We met some cool people from Belgium…they had cool accents! Then we went into the place where they had church and it was sooo pretty! Old buildings and churches rule!!! MORE…MORE!! I WANNA SEE MORE!! *is craving to see old buildings* Have I mentioned my uncle is half Italian? Yes-a. [Through Grandma Hopkins, who I wasn’t related to by blood, but I still thought it was cool.] And Stephanie loves Rhapsody I think. And she wrote “I love Luca Turilli” on my hand. We went to Oconomowoc to metal detect and then went to Stephanie’s skating lesson and I skated too. It was fun.

HAPPY SHINY NEW YEAR!!! It’s 2006, yay! 2005 went really fast and it was a good year. I went to my first concert ever! Trans-Siberian Orchestra…they’re mostly Christmas music…metal style…they’re sooo good! It was veery loud live and there were tooons of lights…I headbanged lots and yelled and I felt like my life was complete and I felt changed (whoa I’m beeing deep! *tear sob cry*). I got mostly everything I wanted for Christmas: the concert, band shirts, CDs…oooh and guess what?? I’m probably going to France, Spain, and Italy this summer! What if I see Luca Turilli in Italy?! I went on a quest to find all the Luca pics online and I’ve found over 530…awesome, no? I have Queen of the Winter Snow by TSO stuck in my head…niice! Oh, I’m taking Latin in school…I LOVE it!!! I’m going to Florida again…we’re driving and I can watch epic battle movies on the computer…YEAH!!! And I shall take you also! Boy this journal has a lot of memories…it goes back to 2001!! If you read it all the way you can definitely see how I changed…I think I shall do that on the trip since I’ll probably have tons of time
Oh yeah…Luca is coming out with a new album in April!! YAY!!! I got Rhapsody’s live CD…man Luca’s hard to understand! I need to watch it again cause there was a bunch of distractions when I watched it. OMG I’ve never talked about Kathryn here…I’ve known her over a year and she RULES!! She lives in Ohio and looks SO epic and elegant and has an epic voice…she’s truly (wow I almost put Turilli! lol!) a true and best friend. Man I should go to bed now and dream of shiny Luca!!! HI PALMY! I’m driving to Florida now! We’re in Louisiana right now…it’s 11:05 AM. YESSS! This is the first I’ve written in you when driving to Florida…I WIN!! I just read everything in here…it was fuuun. *is listening to This Pain by Kamelot* Kamelot is sooo awesome…the guitars and singing and everything rules. In one song, Descent of the Archangel, Luca has a solo!! It’s amazing. I’m surprised Luca’s fingers haven’t fallen off or his guitar hasn’t burned up haha…that’s how fast he plays. I wonder what we’re gonna do (besides visiting with grandparents) this week in Florida…I hope I can go online. I can’t wait till we get to Baton Rouge cause then I’ll see old buildings and the Mississippi River!! Last year we ate at Wendy’s there and on the way back we ate at the same one…on accident! Haha! It would be weird if we ate at it this time

Good morning. *yawns* I’m in Mobile…we stayed at a Best Western Hotel right next to a lovely battleship!! We went on it 3 years ago and I so wanna go on it again.
We’re at a restaraunt (our waitress is Russian!) and I can see it out of the window. *drools* It’s so epic. Gotta eat now, write later. OMG…the hotel isn’t called Best Western…it’s called Battleship In!! Hahaha OMG that’s so awesome and epic!! The battleship is called USS Alabama. Write later
There’s something wrong with the car…we hardly got on the road and it started being weird…I have an awesome view of the battleship though…mom’s talking to someone about the car…she’s telling him where to find the battleship to find us…like you could miss that lol! Ooh a towtruck thingy is here…that was fast…oh no…we have to wait 45 minutes for the people to get here…OMG we may go on the battleship…man whenever I wish something and it doesn’t seem likely to happen it usually does! I didn’t want it to happen this way though. *stares at the battleship for a really long time* Wow! It’s becoming foggy. Whoa mom said the road we’re on she thinks is called Battleship Way…AHH EVERYTHING IS SO EPIC!!! The top of the battleship is enveloped in fog…it’s sprinkling now…nooo the battleship is dissapearing under the fog! I can hardly see it now…haha and as soon as I say that I can see it a little more clearly. Well I can really only see the front of it. Oh our car is gonna get toed to the GMC dealership. Good morning. We’re leaving Florida today (Friday). *tear* We just left grandma and grandpa’s house. This trip was fun! I made lasagna and watched movies and went to a beautiful state park with very clear spring-fed water and talked to Kathryn…yay! We have to pick up our car in Mobile so we’re staying there again…not in Battleship Inn though. *tear* Man Florida has a lot of old people! [OMG LOL] This morning we went to a restraunt to eat breakfast and I think Ryan and I were the only young people there. It’s weird. I have to go back to school Monday…man this break went fast…I dunno whether to read or watch movies or look at the scenery. Today’s St. Patrick’s Day…I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t seen it on TV. I’m wearing all black lol! Haha the only shirts I’ve worn so far on this trip are black. Oook Ryan keeps looking at me…haha I’m blank on what to write about. AHH IT WON’T STOP RAINING!!! We’re a hundred something miles from Dallas…I think…*looks for another sign* Ah 129 miles. It started raining in Alexandria, Louisiana…man what’s if it’s raining in Dallas? Last night we stayed at the outskirts of Mobile…while waiting for our car I was talking to this one-legged guy…he drove past our car and waved to me! I only talked to him like a minute lol! I must’ve made an impression. [Wow, I remember him! He probably appreciated me talking to him like a regular human and not just brushing him off because he was disabled. Small acts of kindness change the world.] Kilgore?? Is that a city?? *is scared* 120 miles to Dallas. Oooh now 117. Gah I have the music from Troy stuck in my head…still!! I watched it yesterday. I can’t wait till we get to Baton Rouge cause then I’ll see old buildings and the Mississippi River!! Last year we ate at Wendy’s there and on the way back we ate at the same one…on accident! Haha! *looks outside* Oooh swampy…haha wow the scenery majorly changed!! It went from pine trees to swampy with weeping willows and other trees. Haha OMG this song rules…it’s Christmas Jam by Trans-Siberian Orchestra [Christmas music in March?? Haha!]…the guitars RULE!!! CAN I PLEASE GET OUT OF THE CAR AND HEADBANG AND PLAY AIR GUITAR?!?! [That wouldn’t be weird at all. :P] Haha OMG now the scenery changed to pine trees again! This is amusing! Ooh and there’s redbuds too…they have lovely purple flowers…we have one in our backyard. Wow…another change. On one side there’s a field and on the other are trees…it looks kinda sad cause all their leaves are off…and now…ooh lotsa fields…now a pond thingy…the water looks really dirty…ooh lotsa ponds…haha sorry I’m writing about scenery changes but I really have nothing else I (want) to do. Aaaand more pine trees…OMG!! Major change!! Pine trees to swampy with bald cypresses and in like 5 seconds it was back to pines! lmao!! I shall write more when we get to Baton Rouge

Cause it’s aaall swampy…it seems like a bunch of rivers…there’s lots bald cypresses…ooh mom said it’s 18 miles long…it has a name but it’s sooo weird…next time I see it I’ll try to write it down…this is one of my fave parts of driving to Florida…that, and the Gulf of Mexico…sooo cool…I’ve been reading a Wheel of Time info book…it’s cool. Aw man…no more weird named bridge thingy. The name started with an A [Atchafalaya Basin Bridge]…aaand now more pine trees…haha wow 3 pages this day…yaaay 15 miles till Baton Rouge…everything is so much more interesting from there…ooh we must be getting close from the…erm, odd..billboards [LOL]…OMG I’ve seen the “La Quinta: Spanish for free high-speed Internet” one like 3 times! Heya…we’re gonna stop for the night in Mobile, Alabama…it’s about an hour and a half from here. Man Ryan’s watching ER without me…I love that show…in the newer episodes there’s someone named Luka! He’s handsome and he kinda does look like Luca Turilli. Good morning. *yawns* I’m in Mobile…we stayed at a Best Western Hotel right next to a lovely battleship!! We went on it 3 years ago and I so wanna go on it again.
We’re at a restaraunt (our waitress is Russian!) and I can see it out of the window. *drools* It’s so epic. Gotta eat now, write later. OMG…the hotel isn’t called Best Western…it’s called Battleship In!! Hahaha OMG that’s so awesome and epic!! The battleship is called USS Alabama. Write later
There’s something wrong with the car…we hardly got on the road and it started being weird…I have an awesome view of the battleship though…mom’s talking to someone about the car…she’s telling him where to find the battleship to find us…like you could miss that lol! Ooh a towtruck thingy is here…that was fast…oh no…we have to wait 45 minutes for the people to get here…OMG we may go on the battleship…man whenever I wish something and it doesn’t seem likely to happen it usually does! I didn’t want it to happen this way though. *stares at the battleship for a really long time* Wow! It’s becoming foggy. Whoa mom said the road we’re on she thinks is called Battleship Way…AHH EVERYTHING IS SO EPIC!!! The top of the battleship is enveloped in fog…it’s sprinkling now…nooo the battleship is dissapearing under the fog! I can hardly see it now…haha and as soon as I say that I can see it a little more clearly. Well I can really only see the front of it. Oh our car is gonna get toed to the GMC dealership. We’re in Florida now (have been for an hour or so) and it keeps randomly raining lol! We passed a sign that said Niceville…I remember staying there one year and everyone really is nice there! Haha OMG it just randomly stopped raining. [Yeah..it’s called “weather” lol.] My goodness this song is giving me chills! It’s called “Gortoz A Ran - J’attends” and it’s from the Black Hawk Down soundtrack…the singer is sooo awesome!! Ooh and now a girl’s singing…man this song is *amazing.* Dunno what language it’s in though. [*googles song* Apparently it’s in Breton, a language in France..never heard of that language before! Good morning. We’re leaving Florida today (Friday). *tear* We just left grandma and grandpa’s house. This trip was fun! I made lasagna and watched movies and went to a beautiful state park with very clear spring-fed water and talked to Kathryn…yay! We have to pick up our car in Mobile so we’re staying there again…not in Battleship Inn though. *tear* Man Florida has a lot of old people! [OMG LOL] This morning we went to a restraunt to eat breakfast and I think Ryan and I were the only young people there. It’s weird. I have to go back to school Monday…man this break went fast…I dunno whether to read or watch movies or look at the scenery. Today’s St. Patrick’s Day…I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t seen it on TV. I’m wearing all black lol! Haha the only shirts I’ve worn so far on this trip are black. Oook Ryan keeps looking at me…haha I’m blank on what to write about. Ryan’s watching Kingdom of Heaven…I love that movie! I wanna watch Troy or Gladiator…or ROTK. It’ll make the time go by faster and I won’t be bored. I’ll probably write more tomorrow…about the battleship lol! Haha

AHH IT WON’T STOP RAINING!!! We’re a hundred something miles from Dallas…I think…*looks for another sign* Ah 129 miles. It started raining in Alexandria, Louisiana…man what’s if it’s raining in Dallas? Last night we stayed at the outskirts of Mobile…while waiting for our car I was talking to this one-legged guy…he drove past our car and waved to me! I only talked to him like a minute lol! I must’ve made an impression. [Wow, I remember him! He probably appreciated me talking to him like a regular human and not just brushing him off because he was disabled. Small acts of kindness change the world.] Kilgore?? Is that a city?? *is scared* 120 miles to Dallas. Oooh now 117. Gah I have the music from Troy stuck in my head…still!! I watched it yesterday.
