1. Have you ever been in a hurricane or typhoon? Which one, when and where? I've only ever seen the outer bands of Hurricane Rita when I lived in Texas (SO cool, I wish I had taken a picture!), and just the extra rain after they died out

1. Have you ever been in a hurricane or typhoon? Which one, when and where? I’ve been in many tropical storms when I was living in New Jersey, it was pretty standard. Also one in Kauai in Hawaii too.
2. Have you ever been near an erupting volcano? Which one, when and where? No.
3. Are there tornadoes where you live? Has a tornado come near you? EXTREMELY rarely. No.
4. Have you experienced severe flooding? When and where? Yes, when dealing with Hurricane Floyd in NJ. It has turned into a tropical storm by then but just stalled right over our state for days. It was an absolute mess. Like, national news worthy because of how terrible the flooding was. I remember how tough it was to get anywhere for days because of the flooding, and when I did somehow figure out a way to get to one of my friends houses by taking a maze of backroads, seeing a tree that had fallen right through the back window of a brand new Eclipse.
5. What is the most extreme weather you have ever experienced? See previous question! Also, major blizzards that produced about 2 feet of snow, and being snowed in for a couple of days. That resulted in some major cabin fever for me, and I also think it had to do with my apartment of the time having some kind of negative haunting attached to it.
