There was a 7.0 earthquake in Anchorage at 8:30 this morning..as the video shows, there is a lot of damage..I would have been absolutely terrified if I had been in that car when the road collapsed!! A lot of people felt it in Fairbanks too..everyone at work was talking about it lol (I was sleeping, so I didn't feel it). I don't think there have been any deaths so far, which is good. That definitely sounded like a scary one! Glad the people I know in Anchorage are safe. I hope they can recover and rebuild quickly! (I imagine there will be a lot of aftershocks though.) I love the comment someone posted after another person said the world was ending: "I think it's just tectonic plates." LOL yes, that's what the earth does :P

I love how everyone at work is always genuinely happy to see me after going on vacation..makes me feel loved <3

Today I saw a magazine with the ironworkers on the Empire State Building on the front cover..it's SO weird and surreal (and pretty cool!) seeing it now knowing my great-great uncle is in the picture lol


Kayaking with the manatees was pretty awesome, and hanging out with family I hadn't seen in awhile too lol
