I got the Dell inspiron e1505 and I love it. It has everything I need for my writing and surfing the web. What laptops are you looking into? The only other laptop I wanted was an Alien ware but they were just out of my price range. Way out of it!!! How are things going for you lately? I haven't touched base with you in a while.

Hey,

Everything has been going ok with me lately. I have been getting ready for the next semester at college.

I was also looking at Dell Laptops! I know the offers change from month to month, so next month I will probably do a more in-depth search for what I want. I hate to say I will only be doing Word, surffing the net, and photoshop on it. No games or things like that, so I will have to look and see what will be the best.

I will take a look at the one you got and see how it is. From the sounds of it...it is great! Thanks for the heads up with the one you bought!

What are you studying? How much longer to you have to go til you meet your need?

I will have my 4-year degree in the Social Sciences at the end of this year! Then I will move on to take the GRE and apply for my Masters. I want to go part time to get my Masters, so I can go ahead and start working in the field. That way when I get my Masters I will have job experience. That is the plan anyway.

What type of things are you going into?

I am trying to get published right now. So that is pretty much all I am into. I know it's boring, but that's me. Now if your talking t.v and stuff well that would have to be veronica mars, supernatural, things like that. Eventhough I do have to say you peak my intrest into atlantis with the pictures of Ronin!!!

LOL! Writing and getting published is not boring...it is very exciting and I am still a few years away from trying that out myself. As far as Ronon Dex, the man is hot and a half growling in your ear! LOL!

I might have to tune in just to hear that!!! I love a man with a good deep voice. It kind of vibrates down your back. Sorry about the mispelling of Ronon's name.**thumping own head** as much as you talk about him I should at least be able to spell the mans friggin name. I try not to get my hopes up, I like what I write my friends do too. And even one english professor said I was easy to read. cool! But it's all about the editors.

the lips (which just happened to be attached to Jensen Ackels face) are on thursday night at 10 pm! enjoy and let me know what you think of it. He was also on Dark Angel and Smallville season 4 and a few other shows I didn't watch. Anyway that's all for now gotta go cook some food.

Oh and which of the 3 versions did you pick and did you add anything onto the laptop? I guess I could just get the basic one then click on all the recomendations they have for it, but I was wondering what you did?

I opted for the basic with a few upgrades. I added internal wireless card and more memory. I left out the media package since I don't use the laptop for creating anything but my written work. I have a desk top for that kind of stuff. all in all it turned out to still be more than I thought it would be. There really isn't anything this thing can't do.

Hey thanks for the info. I looked at it and thought if I customize it then I will get carried away and it will be 1,600. I was wanting to spend around 800 if possible. I will be mainly using it for writing and typing out reports. I have a tower computer for my desk at home with everything on it for my vids stuff like that. I guess if I look at it the way you did then I can maybe get it in my price range.
