Alligator Cabin, Alcove B3, Friday Afternoon

May 28, 2010 14:22

From the aggravated silence coming from the next alcove (and the occasional muffled thump of a small bag being tossed out the window), Karla was pretty certain that she wasn't the only one getting visited by steamer trunks and luggage today.

Karla's method of dealing involved building a fort out of hers. Most of them weren't huge surprises anyway. And it was that or get smothered so...fort it was. She'd tried vanishing them when they'd first started arriving but there was a limit on how much she could vanish comfortably. The giant pile of Abandonment Issues and My Parents Are Dead! made the base of her fort, though the later arrivals of My Parents Were Always Too Busy For Me (But I Pretend to Be Okay With That) and DUTY made for excellent wings when the fort needed expanding. Suitcases labled Briarwood, Darkened Corners, and I Abandoned My People served to construct most of the walls. I Will Never Be Good Enough, I Don't Get Any Choices In Life, I Define Myself By My Craft Alone, and I Just Want to Be Loved bags served as crenelations on the top. She was currently lounging on a dufflebag called Not Pretty Enough and pretending that none of these things bothered her at all.

[Establishy, but open!]

what: playing telephone, event: baggage claim, post: open, who: dinah lance, where: alligator cabin, who: karla, the establishment works for me!
