weekend recap
Friday:
Sunday
- Used my last vacation day of the FY
- Got
infowidget to the airport for ALA - Went to the Apple Store to get the battery on my MBP replaced
- Delivered an old CRT we weren't using to
infowidget 's uncle. Got paid with a tasty Great Lakes Christmas Ale. Stayed around and talked with him for about an hour. - Since I was already in Lake County, made a side trip to ESI for some parts. including a speaker for [SEE BELOW]
- Acquired Tempeh Molé parts (mostly from Trader Joe's, but had to get the Molé from the little Mexican grocery in Lyndhurst)
- Crashed hard for a couple of hours.
- Woke up in time to catch up on Doctor Who (I was only one episode behind)
- Made Tempeh Molé
- sleepy time
- Finally got to go to Electronoize Playshop! It started two weeks ago, but prior commitments kept me from going. We breadboarded amplifiers based on the "Little Gem" (thus why I got the speaker)
- Went to the Recycled Rainbow planning meeting. Getting things planned for our little primer/prototype session in a couple of weeks.
- Tempeh Molé was a hit!
Sunday
- Went shopping for various things - Antenna parts for the AMSAT Yagi I'm going to try to build for my insane radio-themed theme camp at RR, some cigar boxes for enclosures, pieces parts, the usual.
- moved my amp from yesterday off of the breadboard and onto a perfboard, and mounted it in a cigar box:
