1. Favorite Beatles song: Revolution 9. Maybe Maxwell's Silver Hammer, only because it's Moog-powered.

2. Favorite Rolling Stones song: Gimme Shelter

3. Favorite Doors song: Too darn many - maybe "Hello, I love you" simply because The Cure covered it.

4. Favorite Bob Dylan song: Subterranean Homesick Blues

5. Favorite Led Zeppelin song: Probably Immigrant Song, but it needs to be longer.

6. TV Theme Song: Dr. Who. Any version.

7. Favorite Prince Song: Sign O The Times

8. Favorite Madonna Song: Maybe Like A Prayer? Some of the more electro-riffic early stuff (Lucky Star? Get into the Groove?)

9. Favorite Michael Jackson song: none. I've never been a big fan. I'll give a little credit to "Thriller" for the Vincent Price action, though.

10. Favorite Queen Song: Radio Gaga

11. Favorite Motorhead Song: Ace of Spades.

12. Favorite Ozzy Song: Crazy Train.

13. Favorite Public Enemy Song: Welcome to the Terrordome. I built a BBS in high school listening to this song over and over again.

14. Favorite Song from a cartoon: The theme to Aqua Teen? I like the 808 thump when they talk about Meatwad. I dunno.

15. Favorite Bruce Springsteen song: "Dancing in the dark", though for fun, sing "Born in the USA" to the tune of "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys.

16. Favorite Depeche Mode song: Probably Enjoy the Silence, which I blame most of my music fandom on. Or Everything Counts, which was really funny live last November (there's even video of it on http://www.depechemode.com)

17. Favorite Cure song: I may have to break this down by album. In fact, I will:
3IB/Boys Don't Cry: Fire in Cairo

Pornography: Pornography
The Top: Wailing Wall
The Head on the Door: The Blood
(Kiss Me)^3: The Perfect Girl
Disintegration: Plainsong
Wish: High
Wild Mood Swings: Jupiter Crash
Bloodflowers: There is no If
The Cure: The End of the World
B-sides/misc: Halo

18. Favorite song that most of your friends haven't heard: Section 25's "Looking From a Hilltop", or "Inspiration".

19. Favorite Smiths song: This Charming Man

20. Favorite Beastie Boys song: I like the beat of "Brass Monkey" (and DJ Empirical's mash of it with Debbie Gibson), but "Intergalactic" has vocoder. And "Rhymin and Stealin" is what I'm all about.

21. Favorite Clash song: This is Radio Clash.

22. Favorite Police song: Synchronicity II

23. Favorite Eurythmics song: Something on the electronic side - either Sweet Dreams (are made of this) or Here comes the Rain Again. Either way, the important thing to know about Eurythmics is that they catalyzed Curve.

24. Favorite Beach Boys song: George Fell into his French Horn (something very strange recorded during either the Pet Sounds or Smile sessions).

25. Favorite Cyndi Lauper song: Not a big fan. Maybe "She Bop"

26. Favorite song from a movie: Nine Inch Nails covering Joy Division's "Dead Souls" (From The Crow).

27. Favorite Duran Duran song: New Moon on Monday.

28. Favorite Peter Tosh song: I like a lot of reggae, but I can't say I know his stuff that well (yes, this probably makes me a heretic in some circles) - I mean, if it was Favorite Lee 'Scratch' Perry song, I'd have an answer.

29. Favorite Johnny Cash song: Ring of Fire

30. Favorite song from an 80's one hit wonder: Wall of Voodoo's "Mexican Radio". Or M/A/R/R/S - "Pump up the Volume", since it was a literal one-hit wonder (that single is the entirety of the M/A/R/R/S catalog, whereas WoV had other songs/albums).

31. Favorite song from a video game: The C64 version of Ghostbusters, because they managed to use the SID chip as a primitive sampler, which blew me away in the mid-80's.

32. Favorite Kinks song: Either Father Christmas or maybe Superman, which I just heard a few weeks ago and blew me away.

33. Favorite Genesis song: Land of Confusion, lately.

34. Favorite Thin Lizzy song: The Boys are Back in Town (if only because the Happy Mondays did a hilarious cover of it).

35. Favorite INXS song: Never Tear Us Apart. or "Mediate"

36. Favorite Weird Al song: ATM, "Don't Download This Song", which, I downloaded.

37. Favorite Peter Gabriel song: oooh, too many choices. "Games Without Frontiers", "In Your Eyes", and I don't know where my copy of "Shaking the Tree" went, which disturbs me.

38. Favorite John Lennon song: Instant Karma?

39. Favorite Pink Floyd song: Too many. Maybe "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun"

40. Favorite cover song: Meat Beat Manifesto's cover of DM's "Everything Counts". It's magic.

41. Favorite White Stripes: Seven Nation Army

42. Favorite dance song: New Order - "Temptation" (the 1982 version, not the 1987 version)

43. Favorite U2 song: Another band with too many choices. "Seconds","Bullet the Blue Sky", "Trying to throw your arms around the world", "Acrobat", and probably half of "Zooropa"

44. Favorite song from an actor turned musician: Kylie Minogue -"Can't get you out of my head"

45. Favorite disco song: I Feel Love - Donna Summer. Moroder-y analog goodness.

48. Favorite The Who song: Boris the Spider

49. Favorite Elton John song: Rocket Man, or "I guess that's why they call it the blues"

50. Favorite song, period: If you believe my iTunes play count, it's the Karl Denver Trio's version of "Wimoweh" I don't think this is true though. I can't pick just one. NO's "Temptation" if I must. The original 12", with Hooky tossing ice down Bernard's shirt.

51. Favorite Sting song: "Russians", or "The Soul Cages".

52. Favorite Billy Joel song: We Didn't Start The Fire. I've won more trivia contests with this song than I can count.

53. Favorite Burt Bacharach song: The "Casino Royale" soundtrack.

54. First popular song you have a memory of hearing on the radio: (shudder) Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street. It nearly gives me hives.

55. Favorite Eagles song: Mojo Nixon's "Don Henley Must Die". Can't stand the Eagles.

56. Favorite Road Trip Song: Is the KLF's Chill Out a song? On some versions it's one continuous track, and it depicts a road trip.
