I just saw Avatar in 3D. It's a big movie and I recommend seeing it in 3D since it was shot for that format. The story is a bit predictable, but still satisfying.
My cousin Bibi came to celebrate Xmas with me. With the exception of her luggage being delayed by a day or so and Continental being such assholes about communicating with us, it was a great visit. She brought laksa liao and we made laksa (a Malaysian spicy noodle soup dish) for Xmas dinner and had over a few friends. It was my first time making it and it turned out very well. All of a sudden I feel very Malaysian.
We went to see the Spy Museum, National Gallery of Arts, Portrait Gallery, Natural Science Museum, and American History Museum. It was a lot of museum-ing. We also ate twice at Teaism, since it's the only decent food place I know of, in the museum area.
Bibi also brought over some sort of pills for my back. Oh my holy ---, it's amazing stuff. My back feels normal for the first time in months. And I had a great set of presents this year.
I can't stand how cold it is. If I wasn't so poor, I would so go to somewhere warm in Feb.
