I watched the Spelling Bee last week. The winning word was "guerdon," which means reward or recompense. Funny thing is that they showed the earlier rounds on ESPN. I like that, spelling as sport!
The kids were all so amazing. It was sad sometimes when they misspelled. Some of them have studied for five years and they were very crushed.
