Still ring-slinging
My last official act as a Green Lantern was to stop Hal Jordan, one o' the best o' the corps who'd gone renegade, from getting to the Planet Oa and destroying the Guardians of the Universe. Didn't have anything like training but I was a good enough GL to take on the biggest scum suckers on my world so didn't figure this Jordan pisser'd be any problem.
Was I ever wrong.
Jordan made short work o' me, stole my bauble, and took out the Guardians. I drifted through space for a bit until Oa's gravity locked onto me and hauled me down...re-entry's not a problem when you don't burn. After my body pulled itself back together, I got my bearings and headed into town. Figured I'd steal m'self a ship and find a quiet place to settle down; my time with my bauble had earned me a lot o' enemies.
Fore I got outta town, though, spotted the last o' the Guardians making a ring outta what was left o' the massive power battery in the center o' town. Then he was gone, not even sparing me a glance.
Figured, why not?
Carved m'self a new bauble outta what was left o' the big battery and made m'self a new power unit. Seeing as how the big battery had little energy left, used some of it to outfit m'self with the tools o' the trade, I used the last lil bit to make my battery self charging. It kept a bit o' energy and regenerated it from there.
Good to go.
Might head back to Hellhole, might not. Guess I'll have to give that some though. My bauble's working fine, though the 24 hour charge is a thing o' the past. Might have to see if I get my new bauble to let me know when it's running low on a charge.
