Oh man. Satin In A Coffin is one of my favourite songs on the album and you did such a good job with it. The held-back anger and hurt really come through here and it's so sad but still lovely. You did a great job!

I'm so glad you think that I did the song justice - literally the first time I listened to the song with the purpose of writing fic I thought about self-deprecation/hatred and inwardly directed anger so its great to hear that it came through. Thank you!

Oh, Walt. You can really feel his pain here, all of his confusion and struggle. He isn't doing well, not at all. Maybe things will get better for him in the future, with him admitting he's not alright, but it won't be an immediate change. Everything feels much too raw and real.

Thank you, I'm really glad that it worked for you the way it is. I felt a little odd about it being so open-ended but it felt more truthful, so I'm glad that the hope and gradual healing came across.

I love what you did with this song. I love the glimpse you get here of Walt. There are a few stories dealing with PTSD, but not many (if any) that has Walt dealing with it. He seems like such an obvious choice, given the events of the show. Really great job. <3

I agree that Walt seems like an obvious choice for this kind of character study (his eyes when he says "They just kept coming." breaks my heart).
