(no subject)
well, the first week of the semester went pretty well. my classes all seem to be ok and i got back to work for a couple days. yay getting paid.
this weekend was all-star band weekend so we had a bunch of high schoolers running around all of friday and saturday. we (TBSigma and KKPsi) were setting up, tearing down, and supervising the entire time. rather tiring, if you ask me. but we got through it ok.
so instead of playing the tuba as was thought, it turns out we need people to play the trombone. so guess who's gonna learn? yeah, that would be me. should be interesting. i'm encouraged by the facts that 1) i totally get the slide positions and 2) for the first time ever in my life, i made a brass instrument make a noise on wednesday. however, i'm discouraged by the fact i'm sure the noise the trombone made was not the one that was intended. ah well. it's early in the semester so we'll see how it goes.
as of this evening, the alpha gamma chapter of tau beta sigma has four membership candidates for its beta class. very exciting. we'll see how many kkpsi has this semester. i never heard a final count. and soon enough we'll know about littles (please let me get a little sister, please let me get a little sister).
even though this coming week is only a day longer than last, i feel like it's gonna go on forever. maybe because i've got a lot of stuff to do but maybe because i keep for getting that mondays aren't really that busy for me. i dunno. it's slightly confusing.
well, i'm gonna go finish up the reading i need to do before BSG comes on (hooray! BSG is back!) and andy gets done with kkpsi stuff.
