oops
so... it's been a while since i posted. my bad. i've just been really busy and decided to pay more attention to things that actually affected my future. lj does not. don't get me wrong, it's lots of fun. but in terms of deciding my future... it doesn't really rank anywhere near the top.
on to the update.
school's been really busy. tests and quizzes that professors want to get in before finals have showed up in greater quantity than ever before. and while i'm gonna really happy when the semester is over school-wise, finals are getting here a little too quickly for my liking. could do with a little more time, thanks. but they shouldn't be too bad. only one each day so i don't really have to kill myself.
band is pretty much over. we had our indoor concert last weekend and then our last home game was on friday. which we won so we're now bowl eligible, i believe. we'll see what happens with that. our banquet is dec 1st which should be fun. it's been a pretty good season overall so i can't complain.
i have a job! as well as an interview elsewhere lined up! yay! neither one pays great but they both pay well enough to be worth my while. not to mention the flexible scheduling is a plus. the job i have is working with mentally disabled adults. planning activities and going to them. but there are some days there are no activities so i'm just in the office. i'm liking it so far. granted, out of the two days i've been there, one was spent playing board games and the other was spent watching season one of grey's anatomy (that was an office day).
excited about TBSigma stuff for next semester. should be good times.
i'm heading back to MA on tuesday afternoon. should be home in time for a late dinner. won't get back to kent until sunday evening. hopefully it'll be a good time. i've been promised there will be some fun. but hey, thanksgiving usually is.
on wednesday it'll be three months until my 21st birthday. must speak with birthday buddy about what we're doing.
well, i think that's it. i'll update if i come up with anything else. you never know, after all.
back to the star trek marathon (i'm not kidding) and then some sleep. 'night!
