don't worry girl! I live for writing a lot! School is stressful and time consuming. I did see some people going through breakups and weak points as far as personal lives. I did too a little at the start. I was still trying to make things work with my ex and it was hard cause we were so strong before school started, stronger than we had ever been since 12th grade when we were together. When school started he took it much better than I did! I tried to spend time I could with him, but he moved on and didn't really care. It really was brutal, but I knew school was too important and reliable to let myself entirely fall apart. I was basically on autopilot while hurting inside. After the first semester is when I started my relationship with my bf now, and he has always been flexible and supportive to me. Coincidentally, when I went back for 2nd semester I couldn't juggle it all. People were dying and I was trying to be supportive and available to other people, plus I was working in a boy who actually spent time with me, and I ended up failing a class. I couldn't make up that class in summer sessions, so I ended up having to graduate late. It was a bummer, and I do know of a handful of people who graduated late too, but we all got through it you know?
I know other people got tripped up too, and I did see a couple ppl drop out, but I think more just pushed through. There's always that little light at the end of the tunnel where a break is coming, whether it's winter break (4wks yeehaww!), spring break, or summer break. I even saw one girl who got pregnant early in school, and she worked, so for the first year of her baby's life she didn't get to know her a lot, but she pushed through and I'm sure you and your mom can do it!
