Sooo I contacted lj about it and they apparently don't really go through these things in detail. Fair enough, they would be there all day if they did and apparently this is a DMCA thing and I would have to potentially get the advice of a friggin' lawyer just to get the pictures back on. I might be spiteful but I'm not that spiteful and I frankly can't be assed going to court just to let my rage out.
So I am going to put the pictures back on in a nice hidden post because I am spiteful and have nothing better to do.
