I just don't know
Weekend with Mom and Dad up was really nice. They feed me and tell me I'm pretty and that everything will be OK. :P
We watched the St. Patrick's Day parade which conjured up a lot of memories of marching through Southie all those years ago (the Boston parade is nicer, but the Montrealers are tamer spectators).
I'm not quite sure yet what I will do for summer work. I've applied for only one job so far up here. I don't really feel confident enough in French to apply for a job that demands fluency, so my options are kind of limited. I also applied to do a French immersion program for a month up in Chicoutimi but I haven't heard if I have been granted a bursary yet.
I am mostly thinking I will move home for the summer. No rent, free food. I just want to do something very simple and low key. I am thinking about applying to work at this pet store that doesn't actually sell animals, only food. I can talk about my cat all day and not be judged. I also have fantasies about frequent trips to the library and then reading on the back porch and riding down local woodland bike trails. We'll see I guess. For now just have to get through this week with 2 midterms. Eeeeee.
