Praise!!! First, my 19 year old daughter, Kristen, gave her life to Jesus and got baptized and now my youngest daughter, Victoria!! Praise God!! Zach is just three but he will get there too, bless God!!
A friend of a friend of mine - Vickilynn's friend, Jeff, gave his heart to Jesus at their church yesterday along with his little niece and nephew!!!! Praise God!!!! What awesome additions to our family, indeed!! Welcome to new brothers and sister!!
Victoria heard me on the phone then came to me afterward and we talked about salvation and she really understood it and then asked what she needed to do to be saved!!! SO... I told her that she had to admit that she is a sinner, accept an attitude of repentance, accept that Christ is her savior because he died for her sins and the sins of the world - and that Christ is the only one who can save her.
God is so strategic in having just placed in my hands directions for bringing someone to Christ in our special adult class - fellowship breakfast on Sunday morning! Oh my goodness!! Blessings!!
My precious little ten year old daughter understood so much and she was crying and smiling and I asked her why she was crying and she told me, "because I believe all that, momma, and I want to be saved, I love Jesus!" and she just kept smiling at me with tears running down her sweet little cheeks! I had let Victoria watch The Passion of the Christ but did not let her watch any of the beatings or when they hammered the nails into Christ and a few other smaller parts, she watched this just before the baptismal Sunday when Kristen was baptized. I asked Victoria if she wanted to give her heart to the Lord and pray a prayer of salvation with me to do so. and she did -- so we did!!! She will talk to Pastor next time she sees him to see when she can be baptized!! Praise God!!
