I don't know if anyone here watches, but I'm in a sitcom now, called Taehee, Hyekyo, Jihyun (it's on at 7:45 Monday - Friday on MBC. now you can watch it. 8D). Well, my character isn't always really liked by the others, and being an idol star from ten years ago, the aunties sometimes like to call him "washed-up" and "has-been".
My fans really took a big offense to this, which I didn't really know until recently! Even though we use the same names on the show, my character isn't me! But they still felt like the script writer was really trying to take shots at me, which isn't true at all. I felt so terrible when I read the notice on my website... You know, they even had to change the script a little so that people treated my character a little more favorably.
To be honest, I don't really blame them. As terrible as my antis are, my fans can be just as frightening. Even so, I still can't figure out why they would take such offense. It's my character they don't like. Not me. :|
Anyway, the aunties still don't like him all that much, so I hope something like this doesn't happen again. It's no fun without some kind of conflict! Or it could even be worse: if they decide it's too much of a hassle to have me in the cast...
