Holy shit! Memphis beat Ole Miss! This is our first victory against an SEC team since 1996 when we beat UT. God, I'm pretty proud of our team.
I never expected as good of a game as what we played. For the first quarter, we were up 14-0. They caught up to make it 14-17. Then RIGHT before halftime, we made an amazing play to jump to 21-17. Then we fell apart for most/all of the 3rd quarter, allowing Ole Miss to take the lead 21-31. We made some great plays and got some penalties in our favor that jumped us to 28-34. 10 minutes left in the 4th, and we scored 35-34. Ole Miss got a penalty in their favor and made things look incredibly grim for Tiger High football. Then Eli screwed up and tossed an interception. Few plays later its 38-34. Once again, Ole Miss looked like there were gonna make a comeback and steal the victory as the clock hit 0:00. And Eli tossed his third interception of the game! Few plays later, BAM! 44-34 Memphis wins! Hot damn Sam! UGH!
