(no subject)
Yesterday June 14th was someone's birthday! A little girl by the name of Angie.
I bought a bracelet from Her quite a while ago and had planned on giving it to Angie as soon as I could but then I found out her birthday would be in a month, so I just held it til yesterday.
Basically, walked into church service, sad down. Notice her in rows in front of us. She has this pretty purple blouse on, oh purple what it does to me; I don't say anything to her :[
During worship I can't help but have my eyes lure in her direction. Notice her speaking into her friends ear, the room gets pretty loud. The band plays music and everyone's clapping. Usually I join in but today I wasn't feeling it at all.
Christian and I have some sort of code word for attractive women. 'Crazy'
"Whoa, I look, that girl and her mom is crazy."
After service, I looked around for her. Last saw her in the worship area talking to one of her friends. Bumped into Luis and straight asked him "Where is your sister?" I bet that was awkward. After doing a full 360, he didn't know. But I found her. Talking to her friend. I walk up and tap her shoulder. "Hi. Umm. Happy birthday." And her friend says it's your birthday, oh happy birthday and they hug. So I pull bracelet from my murse around my waist and show it to her. Already I see her mouth form a smile. "This is for you." Thank you, she says. And she initiates the hug, which I didn't expect. My hug was gentle, I didn't feel right doing it. A lot of people tell me my hugs are weak cuz I don't go in all the way. Like Justice was saying "Oh just because I'm like your best friend's girlfriend doesn't mean you can't hug me." No, that pretty much means that.
I immediately texted Her thanking her for hooking it up with the gift I gave Angie. I said I was happy. I was. Closest thing to it. That's bull. I was elated. I was smiling.
Me. Smiling.
That with the combination of the Lakers taking the NBA championships made me a pretty happy person yesterday.

Something of coincidence I noticed. I wrote:
"Yesterday I saw this summer's brightest sunlight embodied in someone's smile.
Thank you."
and I notice she had written somewhere...:
"Smile(: cause you never know who'll fall in love with itt."
All about smiles.
