(no subject)
So ... wow. It's been like 97 years since I updated this thing. I've been tremendously busy since I moved home (to Virginia) with my parents in January/February.
I found a job almost right away at Navy Federal Credit Union, in the Mortgage Processing department of the company headquarters in Vienna, VA. So that's what I do on weekdays from 8:00 am-4:30 pm, not including prep and driving time. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we go to the gym for 1-2 hours after work, and my parents have a full docket of evening television shows that we apparently have to watch daily. My favorites among these are Dexter on Sundays, and Criminal Minds on Wednesdays. Add to that dinner, driving time, paying bills, church (I’m required to go as a stipulation of the whole living with my parents for free thing), eating and sleeping, and I’ve pretty much got all hours of the day accounted for.
Pathetically, as far as I can recall, that is everything of interest that I have done in the past 2 months.
I am so lame.
Actually, that’s not true. We sometimes go to free concerts at the Kennedy Center. I saw some modern dancing, some cellos and a soprano … and something else I can’t remember.
A couple of weeks ago we went to the National Cherry Blossom Festival with my cousin Matt, and met his girlfriend Tina.
Last week I was rather ill with a cold and a fever, and now I’m back at work. Wahoo.
