I turn 32 this Friday. Yeah, Halloween.

I'm still trying to decide what, if anything, I want to do for that evening, as well as the weekend.

I'll never turn down boozing it up, but I'd also be willing to travel somewhere. Someone else (alsaihn?) suggested going to see Zack and Miri Make a Porno, which doesn't sound so bad either.

Anyone have other

I considered that, but since it's on a Friday that means I'd have to take a day off of work, and I'm kinda saving up my vacation days. :-/

Be sure to poke mach for me.

Actually, I'm looking for a motor scooter as a step up from a bicycle. Even if the exercise keeps my upper body warm, by the time my legs are either warmed up or too numb to feel cold, I'm just arriving at my destination twenty minutes after I started. Better to get there in about five minutes and not have to worry so much about being out in the cold.

Halloween birthday is pretty awesome!

I'm going to suggest something a little different, which is to get out of the city and spend an evening or night outdoors. Maybe halloween, maybe not - partying is fun, and you've got a whole weekend. For a nice place to go that's pretty close to you, try Hawk Mountain. They've got some beautiful and accessible overlooks. While you can't camp overnight within the preserve, their trails connect to the AT and there are good overnight sites nearby. If you're interested, contact me and I can give you more info.

Been there done that plenty of times in the Boy Scouts as a kid. Even hiked on Hawk Mountain. It's okay, but not really my thing.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.
