Fundraiser
I posted this on a couple of local forums, and J posted it on his journal...but I should prolly post on mine. :)
This Saturday, April 30, there will be a metaphysical fair/garage sale
fundraiser for Kayti Montour. She's got some pretty expensive medical bills,
due to inflamed cartilage. They're still working on diagnosing the exact cause
of her medical problems, but the bills keep adding up for her mom.
At the event, there will be everything from palm reading to tarot, and vendors
selling things including Pampered Chef, homemade fudge, Tupperware, bath and
body products, and all sorts of metaphysical things.
There will also be a silent auction and a raffle.
The event will take place at the Ames Masonic Lodge, 107 Alexander Ave. From Ames go east on Lincolnway about 1/4 mile past Dayton Ave and the Lodge is on the south side of the street across from the Coca Cola plant, before you get to the bridge that crosses over I-35.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
I hope people will come and help out. She's a good kid (17 yr old) and she's been in some major pain for a long time now. The raffle prizes are pretty sweet, and there will be artwork from me to buy. ;)
